Chris Bargas Golf Club at Whitney Farms

To begin with there is no starter. So you check in and then are left up to your own to figure out what the order of play is. The carts were filthy with trash in each one thatI looked at. The carts had also been hosed down, so they were soaked, seat included, with wet trash in them. The course looked like they haven't put any money into it. Fairways, tee boxes and rough were brown throughout the course. The tee boxes were all chewed up and uneven. Bunkers were terrible. Greens were so slow it was impossible to get anything over 20 feet to the hole. Even the beer inside after the round was lukewarm. Overall I would never be back and would advise anyone else to stay away. Certainly not worth anywhere near the $60 I paid and wouldn't even be worth it with a hot deal.

Whitney farms is always a really enjoyable course to play. Living nearby, I always try to play a round here when I can. The rates vary based on day of the week and time of the day, but they’re always very reasonable. The staff makes sure that pace of play is good, the pro shop while small has a lot to offer, and the restaurant is an amazing post-round stop. Driving range and practice putting green are great places to warm up or practice. Amazing course, 100% recommend playing here if you get the opportunity.

Tee boxes in horrible shape, very little grass and uneven. fairways were inconsistent, and fairway to rough was lacking. greens were ok, seemed long, and speed inconsistent from green to green.

I had a good round at the Black Course. It’s a nice course to play. The greens could have been faster.

We were placed behind a tourney that went extremely slowly. 3 of my foursome quite after 9. I joined with 2 other players and was threatened by a male following the tourney for “hitting into them” which none of us did. Sponsor of the tourney then came out and yelled at me for doing something none of us did. A complete abomination!

Love this course, hard and each hole is different…. The only Negative words I have not enough water jugs on a hot day

I’d don’t remember seen any of them. So you have to wait for the car person to come around. And the 8th hole has been shorten Changing it from a par five to a par four…Don’t know why? Definitely changes the layout of the course.

Challenging Greens -

Well maintained and great staff

What a lovely lush green manicured course it is. The greens are reasonably fast. Though it has less bunkers or water hazards, it’s challenging. The pace of play also was good. Overall it was a very enjoyable course. Highly recommend it.

It was hot, but I don’t hold that against them. The course layout was awesome and the holes were just the right amount of difficult. The one thing I really didn’t like is that it was backed up we caught up to the group ahead of us and the groups behind us all caught up to us it was about four groups waiting for the previous one to finish a hole or get far enough away to tee off
