Connecticut National Golf Club

By far, one of our favorite courses to play and well worth the money to play. Besides not having a current club house or food, everything else could not have been better

This course was incredible. The conditions, hazards, and layout felt very high end and made for a challenging round. Honestly it felt like you were playing on a professional course. The fairways were immaculate. The rough was playable, but thick, unless you ended up in the tall fescue. The traps were placed strategically and made you think, but had great fluffy sand. The greens were perfect, but extremely fast IMO. Definitely not a bad thing, but takes adjustment if you don’t play there. All of that for $35 for 9 is insane. In Maine, we don’t have courses that measure up. Our best courses are over $200 and don’t compare. Visit this course if you are in the area!

So the owner or owners kid was in group behind my 4-some and mind you we weren’t playing slow but unfortunately it wasn’t up too their standards so he had the ranger talk too us then only to hit onto us 4 times throughout the round until we literally had to threaten them to not do it again…If that’s the owners group or kids group then they should be ashamed of themselves..

2nd time at this beautiful place… a pleasure to play as everything is in wonderful condition. You will not be disappointed!

Great place to play. Hard for somebody who shoots in the 80s. But love it when I get a great Military Tee Time.

We always enjoy our round at Ct Natl

The variety and challenge that the course presents is a great value.

Great course tucked in the hills. Elevation changes, great par 3's. New clubhouse under construction. Worth the drive from Boston. Watch the speed on the greens.

Here’s a suggestion though:

Since the starter at hole 1 has an iPad with groups and tee times, have them scan the credit card and give out cart keys. A lot easier than walking around the 18th to the trailer. ( until the clubhouse is ready)

Course is in great shape!

Even though CT National is a good hour drive for members of the Fryers Foursome, it was well worth it. The course was in great shape, and offered a wide variety of holes with beautiful fews of the Putnum Valley. The greens were in fine form for early May, and with the unique Blue/White tee box offering, you played all of your clubs. Unfortunately the club house isn't complete, but it is shaping up to be a premier facility.
