3rd: par-4, 430. This Cape design tempts you to take the shortest route down the fairway toward the green (on left). Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

7th, par-3, 220. A well-guarded and contoured green; a pleasant backdrop. Seen here from its left flank. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

8th: par-4, 352. Green complex at this short and steeply downhill hole--made perilous by a pond. Eagle potential, however. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

The par-4 14th, 447. Long, beautiful, and possibly deadly. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

Sixteen is another excellent, long par-4 concluding on this green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

18th, par-5 of 588. The signature hole? I’ll go for that. Great bunkering from Mungeam. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

Tough greens as usual
Nice day pace was a little slow keep the ball below the hole!
Conditions
Early spring conditions on greens. Need to grow in a bit. Traps could use some new sand.
As always the tee to green conditions were great though.
Conditions / Value
I generally play a couple times at Connecticut National and it is a great course. The staff is great for what I will say is for spring golf. The conditions of the greens were not that great considering that they charged me full price of $75. I just felt the value based on the condition, to me wasn’t worth the money. I’ve played several rounds this spring and other courses that I have played haven’t charged full price yet considering That they don’t have perfect condition yet.
Great course in time
Club house recently burned down, so no amenities. Did have a driving range which was nice to warm up. Was included.
Beautiful
Amazing views! Can’t wait to go in the summer!! We had a windy and cold spring day, but I can’t wait to go back!
Course was in very condition for April. The greens, tees, fairways and rough were very nice. I will come again.
Bfly
Course in great shape for so early in Season. FYI- clubhouse under construction. No bar!
For early season golf, the course was in real good condition. The greens are still recovering from the last aerification, but for March golf in New England they were still very puttable.
