One of the best in the area!
Great track...excellent condition...greens are a little beat up, but only due to the high amount of play...fairways are perfect! Lots of fun!
Course layout & conditions
Course was in fabulous condition, well worth the money!
Nice Course, poor amenities
All 4 water coolers on course were empty on hot day. All water pitchers at the bar in restaurant were empty. I pre paid for a cart but had to pay an additional $15 cart fee because the staff could not find the person I was supposed to share a cart with. Made the turn and different people were waiting to tee off on 10 (not the people who were ahead of us on the front nine).
Nice course, some weird holes.
It is a nice course and the greens and fairway are well maintained. A couple of very quirky holes that make no sense. Make sure you take water. Only 1 out of 3 water jugs on the course had water and it wasn’t very cold. Most gold course have water out, especially if it is really hot out and cart path only! One guy we were golfing with had to pay an extra 15.00 for a cart when he couldn’t find the guy he was paired up with. What a load of crap!
Excellent Tee to Green
Course is in excellent condition from tee box to greens. Great value, Staff are great! One of my favorite courses to play.
Tired old man
This was a great spot to play back in the day and it’s sad to see how tired it is. The course is still a great challenge from the tips and in decent shape, but people need to take care of their ball marks on the greens. It’s a great value and it’s paying for it unfortunately. Please take care of this tired old man.
Great course, great value
Best conditioned STL area course I’ve seen in years, especially with our recent weather, For the money, cannot imagine a better deal anywhere.
Hot and humid 🥵🥵🥵🥵
Greens were chewed up , possibly from weekend scramble (??). The course was in pretty good shape otherwise , considering the lack of rain . The course was not crowded . We didn’t realize the humidity was coming , and it was staggering !
The greens were soft, and held really well .
Always in great shape!
Love this course the tees, fairways and greens immaculate condition! It sets up for somebody that hits a fade on most holes. Another good thing about this course it drains better than any other course in the area after rain.
Great course Slow play
It was a beautiful Saturday but had to wait for a finishing group to get a cart. 30+ min past tee time. The staff was apologetic and friendly, and worked hard to solve the problem. This course has every 9 min tee times and is most always slow on nice days. Today there was a kids scramble on the par 3 course and a Grintgolf tournament. Usually the par 3 course is a walking course but the little ones and family needed them today, plus some of the tournament organizers needed carts as well. Interestingly the delay spaced the teeing off groups where play was pretty good after. 5 hour round.
Better with age
I have been playing this golf course off and on since 1990. It just seems to get better with age. Not much rain in the St. Louis area over the last couple of months, but not a blade of grass out of place. Tees, fairways, greens, and bunkers are superb!
Has always been a wonderful layout. Difficult, but very fair. Incredible test of golf!
Mary and her staff are to be commended for keeping this jewel, a destination for all golfers.
Great layout-excellent condition
This is a Big Boy golf course and you better bring an A game. Tough but fair and in country club condition. Deep green side bunkering unusual for a fee course. Fairways are well defined but also have fairly punitive bunkers. No Mickey Mouse gimmicky holes-just straightforward and demanding. This is the site of many USGA qualifiers and state/regional competitions
