About
Garrisons Lake Golf Club, nine miles north of Dover, is a historic play centrally located to all parts of Delaware. The course is nature friendly: with tree-lined fairways and large, well bunkered greens throughout. The par-72, 7,060-yard course was recently renovated and improved, and players of all abilities will be confronted with a fair challenge. Not that there aren’t hurdles. Garrisons Lake is book-ended by two long plays: The 535-yard, par-5 first features out of bounds along the left side, and the 536-yard 17th features a challenging tee shot with trees on the right side. Garrisons Lake Golf Club also has a bustling practice range, putting green, golf shop and snack bar.

Tough track
I have play here on and off for 30 years Have seen course ups and downs. Nice to see some work going on with clearing of trees. Hope they keep working because it need a lot of love. Tough par 3s. . . Airation of back 9.
cold and windy
they are cutting down a lot of trees and have not done much to clean up the small branches and twigs. this has left the course in a pretty messy state. Most of the.sand traps need some attention but the greens are in great shape.
aeration
When we arrived, we found out they were aerating the front nine and they kindly allowed us to play back nine twice. Back nine was in pretty good shape and we appreciated them allowing us to play that way, but we would have liked notice of aeration on golfnow.com when we booked our round.
good value as hot deal
Course was in good shape for a public layout with the exception of the Bunkers they needed sand and some drainage improvements. staff was great and pace of play was good.
GLGC
GLGC is a tree tree lined moderate length course of reasonable difficulty. The course is in truly great shape with the exception of some of the bunkers. Kurt is a great guy and his staff are are attentive and friendly.

This course is a great value. The staff is friendly, and the course is in good shape. Some of the fairways could be cut a little closer, but overall it is well kept.
Returned to play again
Fun course, you will use all your clubs. I just wish they had a 19th hole.
The greens are big and give a player many options. They are in fantastic condition!
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The course is in great shape and the greens are excellent!! No problems with the pace of play. Availability to refreshments is a small draw back for this facility. Looking forward to playing here again very soon.
