One of the best conditioned public courses
Sand traps, fairways, and greens are well maintained. The only item keeping the course from perfect is a lot of unrepaired ball marks. Keep your divot tool handy, and everything will be OK. Always a treat to play there.
Greens are in rough shape
I’ve enjoyed my previous rounds at river pines but the greens and tee boxes were in really bad shape this time around.

Great consistent conditions
Always a treat to play the course. Greens are showing a few brown spots because of the hot and wet weather, but putts rolled really well. The only blemishes were the unrepair ball marks. So, have some consideration for following golfers and be sure to fix your ball mark (and one or two more)!

Bad
Bad service! Not only that… they were close to 45 minutes behind. My tee time was at 345p… normally we take 3.5 hours to finish. Was approached in the 16th while by a staff member saying “we r closed and u need to wrap up!” We we’re so behind due to them and she was really rude and abrasive! I asked for a prorated refund and she laughed at us! Said… we close at 8 so u gotta go!!! Really discouraged by this experience and wouldn’t recommend after this!

I have written several positive reviews on River Pines which you have answered with a Thank You for your review.
The week before I sent a negative report because several things occurred which I found unusual for River Pines, funny you never answered that review with any comment. Just wondering why - do you only want to know about the good times and not the bad times?

Course review
Overall a wonderful time. The greens could use a little more service. Most had puddles at sprinkler locations and a fair amount of wear. Still a fun course to play at.

River Pines
Fairways in excellent shape; greens a little slow as they no doubt are keeping them a little higher in this heat; a few crazy holes (6,7,10,11). Excellently run property.

SLOW PLAY
Extremely slow play. Waited to tee off on every hole and finally passed on 17 and 18, As we passed the 18th tee box there was a player urinating into the bushes. When we passed the starter and marshall who were on the first tee we let them know about the player's display of disrespect for other players. The starter laughed it off and said he would tell the guy they had pictures. I did not appreciate his response and was really surprised that was the attitude of one of your employees. Always loved playing at River Pines but yesterday was not one of those days.

Coures great, Maintance staff BAD
The golf course was very good, BUT the maintenance staff uncaring. Mower guy in blue shirt ran the mower tractor with all mowers turning and grass coming out about a foot from our parked cart with both of us sitting in cart. Covered us in dust and grass.
