RiverPines Golf Course

We booked a tee time thru golf now to play here, there was bad weather the night before and storms caused trees to fall on the course overnight. After an hour drive to the course, we show up to find that they’re closed. We walked around the back to try and find someone to confirm and found a guy standing on the deck and he said the course was closed and I said it would have been nice to know that before driving an hour. He said “we sent an email out to our members on the email list”. Thanks genius, you’re a public course that uses a 3rd party booking system. You need to contact every possible avenue to inform customers that the course is closed. They were still selling tee times for the SAME morning on GN and the course wasn’t even open… so I’m sure we were not the only ones that showed up and were greeted with a very bitter man who was not helpful at all. He also failed to inform us that the course was opening back up, so after driving another hour to play another course (Chicopee woods, much much much better course and staff) last second, we drove back by here on the way back to the house and the parking lot was full and they were open for business. What a joke.

Pace of play slow due to a foursome in front of us. Marshall finally got involved very late to move them among which lasted maybe two wholes. Ov Overall, a nice course. Well worth playing. Tee boxes need a lot of help. Fairways and greens in nice shape. Practice area nice. Brakes on golf cart really sensitive.

Definitely will play again.

Great time, greens are in good condition and the layout was great. I will definitely will comeback.

First time playing and drives were running forever. Greens were fast and relatively flat.

Some tight tee shots and plenty of water hazards. Solid layout. Love they included a few practice balls in the green fees

I was surprised there was no distance measures on cart GPS but saw later than perhaps it was on an AP. No one mentioned it. Some good signs on distance to water hazards..

Traffic leaving the course is heavy which i guess is golf in the area.

Closest course to my house, but I don't play it too often, it's over priced. Good layout, nothing too diffcult, usually in good condition. Pace of play is good, Large driving range. In the rotation, play a few times/yr

Totally unprofessional behavior from the staff. Instead of accusing paying customers and getting defensive you should learn to be a responsible professional and take responsibility for your staff!

My family are proud military and would not try to cheat someone out of $15, but when you don’t honor the military, I guess that doesn’t mean anything.

If I could give zero stars I would. I guess I could give one star because it’s cheap, but it’s cheap for a reason.

Do better!

Overall a fun course to get out and play with some friends. Not a very hard course but if you’re looking for a fun track check it out.

Playing group. The course is in great shape, thoroughly enjoyed the round of golf today.

The course is in great shape, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a group in front of us, and only had to wait on the 18th tee as it's a blind tee shot. The bent greens were extremely soft (without rain in the previous week), such that my approach shots were plugging on the green. I'd like to have the chance of holing out without dunking it! Other than that, the only complaint I have is that many of the tee boxes were uneven with giant dirt patches. If they could find a happy medium between the tee boxes and greens, this course would be top tier in the state. (9.7 HCP, I play 36/54 a week. Will come out here at least once more)
