About
White Pines Golf Club is ideally situated for both locals and visitors with a convenient location that is just 30 minutes from downtown Chicago and only 10 minutes from O'Hare International Airport. The club has two 18-hole courses, the East and the West. The East is the shorter and more player friendly of the two at 6,371 yards from the back tees. The fairways are seemingly narrow but there is some room for recovery if you have an errant shot. There aren't as many bunkers or water as on the West Course, but there is enough to provide a fun round. In addition to 36 holes of golf, White Pines G.C. also offers the Golf Dome, one of the world's largest indoor golf facilities. It features five target greens surrounded by bunkers, 50 hitting tees on two levels, and six suspended hitting targets for practicing your accuracy.

Fun round
Thanks for a nice time. Our foursome really enjoyed ourselves. Nice old trees keep it challenging. Fair amount of water throughout the East course. Will be back.
Not well maintained.
I grew up playing White Pines. When I shared that with the pro inside, no response. He clearly could care less. The course itself was more than a week over due for cutting - everywhere. Greens were very slow and need both cutting and rolling. Rough was over 4 inches deep just off the fairway. Fairway was over 2 inches deep. You could lose a ball in the fairway. Played with a wow man who hit from the forward tees. They were almost to long to tee the ball up. Staff was not friendly. I will not play there again anytime soon.
West Course Review
We always love playing here!! Just an overall wonderful round of golf!!
The pines. My savior
This is my favorite course to play for the money by far. Lots of land here. 2 huge putting greens, and when the driving range opens up again it’ll be an even better facility. Love the staff, they’re always nice and it’s not hawty twawty like many golf courses are. West>East but still 2 great courses

The course is in very good shape this year, including the greens. Good for the typical recreational golfer.
Beautiful course
The course plays well and although, most fairways have trees on both sides, it plays pretty much straightaway. There is one hole on the back nine. It might be the 12th or 13th. It is surrounded by water. It was gorgeous. It could very well be a advertisement photo for the course. It was probably the most challenging. I plan to play White Pines West again and I would strongly recommend this course to friends. The staff was friendly and the course was great condition.
