About
Owned and operated by the Byron Forest Preserve District, Prairieview Golf Course sits on a scenic stretch of land that overlooks the Rock River. The layout will test different skills with plenty of variety, offering both open, links-style holes and tight, tree-lined holes. The design takes advantage of the rolling terrain, incorporating the varying elevations into the large and undulating greens. The breaks can make the greens hard to read and they're made even more challenging by more than 60 bunkers strategically places along the borders. There are also water hazards in the form of ponds and a meandering stream that come into play on five holes. In addition to the course, there is also a 15-acre practice facility with a driving range, two putting greens, and chipping and pitching greens with two bunkers.

hey golf now , why are you posting the same rate as the course ! i ended paying your 3.00 fee for why ? you need to offer a value , not making money off the $3 fee. i will never use this app again. let’s see how your customer care team handles this !
need more sand in traps also need to remove rocks from the traps greens were rough and slow
Fun and in great shape!
Well worth my 1 hour drive. Pretty wide open course with big greens. Course is in really good shape and greens are quick too. If you’re in the area give it a go.
Too Busy.
Made reservations on Golf Now. Due to expected storms one of the players backed out. I tried to cancel the reservation on line but couldn't figure it out so I called the club house direct and the person that answered the phone assured me she would "take care of it" but I still don't have and probably don't expect to receive credit for the round. I played the next spot and paid again for the new time. Regardless, the course was packed., no ranger, pace was exceedingly slow. Bur, a ranger could have alleviated the trouble. This isn't a course for me.

Pleasantly surprised. Course layout and view surrounding were beautiful. Overall course condition was good. Greens speed was average.
