Early season maintenance
Early season maintenance on greens.
Some are being broadened, so 1 to 4 feet of "green" is really just mowed down fairway.
Greens are fast, I'm used to Balmoral having some of the truest greens in the South Suburbs, so I'll wait another 6+ weeks to shoot again, until maintenance and grass is done.
Overall course was in above average condition.
Hope New Ownership Invests
I love the layout of this course. Really challenging old school course that makes you shape some shots. Fantastic weather today. Course was dry and the greens ran fast.
The course could be better condition though. The greens would be beautiful if they were re-seeded.
Always fun and always a challenge
I really like Balmoral Woods because it is a challenging layout, but fair. If you hit good shots you can score.
Great staff
Great staff from check in to starter to cart men.
Greens in great shape.
Not impressed
Heard good things about the course but didn’t live up to the hype. With a 1 hour wait to tee due to frost, staff did not prepare properly when scheduling tee times. Poorly done and so am I with this course.
Tough course! A lot of leaves this time of the year
Good course
Unfortunately, I didn't get to play today. They had over an hour delay because of frost. They should have changed available tee times to later hours, now that the weather is getting cooler. I don't believe I would have finished before it got dark.
Three putt goal
Almost impossible hole locations for weekend play
Almost every four foot putt ended up being 12 feet past
Pace was slow with cart groups wAiting for groups waking
Great layout and good test for the intermediate golfer.
Always enjoy the trip out to play Balmoral. We had a nice day in October to play a good round of fall golf.
Lost club
Lost club call clubhouse found it delivered on course
Worth the play
Great course to play with stuff greens and some fairway are stuff to hit. Will play it again.
