Toughest Course in the Region
You need to adjust your game when you play here. Greens are a mf’er. Par 3’s are brutally long and I’m talking from the white tees. The wind is always in your face. More difficult than white hawk, lost marsh, palmira, ravisloe, harborside, aberdeen, sandy pines.
Not NICER, but more difficult, where it’s almost not fun to play.
Challenging course
Fairways and greens in good shape. Tee boxes need work. Cart paths have more pot holes than Chicago city streets, same as the parking lot. No beverage cart on the course, would’ve been good to know because you have to wait to halfway house after 7th hole for Amy drinks.
Balmoral woods
Can’t wait to go back! It’s a treat to golf at a beautiful and tough course.
My Round At Balmoral
Balmoral is a championship golf course that was in very good condition. A few of the sand traps were wet but that is to be expected when the temps were close to 90 degrees for the last two days and courses are trying to water the grass. The pace of play was great and we finished in just over three hours I was surprised by the few golfers on the course but that may have been due to the heat. However, I have played there about 8-10 times and most times that has been the case.
Course in great shape fun to play had a great time
Balmoral
As a senior citizen, this was good value for our money. Unfortunately, because of previous rain, of course was a little damp, and the greens were somewhat unpredictable, but otherwise very playable.
Balmoral Woods
Awesome course if you like tough courses. The course was in great shape. Want to go back soon. Played after a lot of rain so it was cartpath only but still had a great time.
Balmoral Woods GC
Balmoral looking great today. Greens were rolling good. Good pace, best I’ve seen the course in years.
Great Layout
The course is fun to play, multiple tees make it a challenge if you wish . Employees are friendly
