Balmoral Woods Country Club

Refreshment stand closed midday on a busy Sunday with no refreshment cart making rounds. Pin placements were beyond difficult on every single hole whenever possible. The upkeep of the greens in particular, and the overall condition has decreased substantially in the past year versus the previous 30 years I’ve been playing there. We were all very disappointed. It certainly is nowhere near the golf course it had been for many many years.

I love this course. Lots of elevation changes. It’s strange that’s it’s a par 38 and 34 but it works.

Always a great course, but some of the recent reviews I didn’t believe so I had to play on Friday to verify, and unfortunately it needs love. Layout is great and challenging but greens look to have some disease unattended to and are v e r y

I hate to even write this as Balmoral is one of my absolute favorites and it was a round in April but per the starter they couldn't cut the grass and oof. I feel like there was more than just not cutting the grass that's needed. Tee boxes destroyed, greens desperately needed a roller, fairways were fine but beat up in areas and rough needed the cut.

Such a great place but scary how poor the conditions were when other courses have had no issues like this.

I showed up slightly early for my tee time and at most places the staff accommodates you, but the woman who was in the pro shop tells me I can’t play until 10 am and no one is allowed on the course when I clearly saw a man on the course near the hole one green playing at 915 am. So she was clearly lying to me about the course rules and as I was leaving to go wait in my truck she rudely tells me I need to not bring my clubs inside again, but to leave them outside. I went to my truck and promptly cancelled my reservation losing out on my money for the round, which I’d rather do than patronize a golf course with rude staff.

We didn't think the course was wet enough to require "cart path only." If we had known that in advance we would not have played Balmoral. It is too difficult for people with bad knees to have to stay on the cart path and walk to your ball. Cart paths are in need of repair in many areas.

Took 4:45 hrs to play. Course was very wet which slowed things down.

Great layout, Great value. Greens need some work. Love this place
