A terrific layout in (already) excellent condition
Took the opportunity to play Red Tail on their opening weekend of the 2021 season and what a good day it turned out to be. We are in full “thaw” mode in this part of the country, so there was some squishiness, to be sure, but no puddling. The greens were excellent and the layout, with its left and right doglegs, elevation changes and 2 challenging “island style” greens, is always first rate. Not sure how you beat Red Tail for cordial service, excellent layout and maintenance. I played Red Tail for the first time in 2020, so this was second time, and I will continue coming back here...more often...in the future.

This course is always extremely wet... they also booked tee times 10 minutes apart with made for a 4.5 hr round. Course has a great lay out and love to play it but do not think it was worth the $48 to golf at twilight in the last weekend of November... where are the fall/winter rates???
