Red Tail
Course was in great shape.
Pace of play wasn’t bad. Little congested at times, but expected when it’s 70+ degrees in November in Illinois.
Only thing that was a little annoying was no cash transactions, credit card only, but they would accept cash tips. A little strange?
All in all, great course
Rake the traps
I really like this course however it appeared the traps hadn't been groomed in days.

Fun Day
Great day to start with a round of golf. Course was in fair condition and areas were under construction. Fairways were in good shape and the greens played well. Able to keep pace with the grop in front of us and did not slow down the single behind. Great weather and it appeared that all players were enjoying the course.

Fun course, beautiful day, lots of golfers
Everyone took advantage of the beautiful weather and came out to play golf. Played in 4 hours and 15 minutes even with a packed course. Greens were true and course was in very good shape. Red Tail has a great layout and many holes allow for some “miss room”. Good challenge but a lot of fun!

Challenging course that is well spaced out. Numerous fairways had just been aerated which made lies a little tricky. Overall conditions were good. Will play again

Great Course
I like courses with topography, and this course has decent elevation changes. The course is well-maintained - the leaves were cleared, and the greens rolled very nicely (but fast!). Pace of play was excellent this round, but it can be a little slow on weekends (not a big quibble). My only criticism is about the bunkers. Wish the sand is softer, a bit hardpan right now.
The course layout is also interesting. Water, native grass and island greens make it challenging.
Staff is super friendly too!

Great course
Red Tail is one of the nicest courses in the area. It’s very open and you won’t get into much trouble. The 10th and 16th holes are very fun holes to play as they share the same island green.
The Greens are always in great shape Probably the smoothest greens in the burbs.

Greens are in very good condition. Rough cut to 1-1/2".
Only complain was a real slow group in front of us.
