Always a challenge
Had a great day at the course with friends from out of town. They spoke about the greens being speedy and in great condition. Will play again soon as I left to many birdie’s on the course.
Not a good experience today
4 hours and we left after the 13th hole. I really could not recommend course anymore..The ‘excuse’ of an outing is used. I am sure they have outings but should not be a reason for pace. The starters were also very confused and not in control.
This was 2nd time in a month that pace was so bad we left. Has to be the last
Love this Course!
I’ve been playing this course for 20+ years and it never disappoints. Still well taken care of and the greens are great. We love this place.
Nice Course Poor Pace
This course is really nice but it took my twosome almost 3 hours to play 9 holes. There was no staff ensuring pace of play. I probably won’t go back to this course which is unfortunate.
Outstanding
Course was outstanding after a heavy rain. Course is set up for all levels plus great views. I will definitely play it again. Staff goes out of there way to make sure you enjoy your round.
Sand needed in traps
Pros- greens in excellent shape, staff and starter very personable. Cons- VERY SLOW pace of play, no marshal,no cart person at all. Sand traps and a few fairways in need of repair.
Sunday outing
The course was in good shape with the exception of the sand traps/bunkers. I don’t understand why none were really playable and would hope this gets addressed soon. This is the only thing keeping me from rating higher.
Thank you for City Club. Earlier this week we had a major rainstorm that washed out the bunkers, we believe most of the sand is now somewhere in Smyrna. We have ordered more sand to be delivered this week and they should be back in shape soon. Thank you again and we look forward to seeing you soon.
Beautiful scenic course
Cannot beat the views from this course. We had a great day, perfect weather, were not pushed at all. The girl working the restaurant at the turn was really friendly. My only issue was that I reserved my tee time through Golf Now, the guy at the proshop told me Id be better off just booking with them direct...and the price he charged us was different than what we booked online.....that was not cool.
