Excellent Layout & Great Conditions
Georgia National is currently open to the public. I have played all Green Valley Courses ( e.g. Providence, Crystal Lake, Heron Bay, Georgia National) and this my favorite one. All of the other courses are great but what I like the most about Georgia National is the overall course conditions, layout, and the greens! The greens are very fast but they roll true. It is a must play especially if you can play during the during the week. The only area of improvement are the cart paths. They need a lot of work on a number of holes. If you are a vet/military, you get an extra $10 during the week. I am not sure if this discount applies on the weekends. Range balls also come with your paid round. Friendly staff and great clubhouse with a variety of food and drink selections.

No Etiquette
Great place to play if you want to practice hitting with distractions. Maintenance crew followed us every hole w mowers and carts, cutting in front of us as soon as we hit. Very disappointing.

Decent course.
Tee box and the green was in a great condition, offered free coffee as well.
Fairway and the rough was just average.
They offered free coffee which was great.
Only red flag I saw was that the cart path was in a terrible condition.

Nice Track - Plays Long
Over the past few months, I have played several of the former Cannon Gate courses in Northeast Georgia. Georgia National was perhaps in the best condition of these courses. We typically play from the 6,500 yard tees and found the blue tees at Georgia National to play longer than the scorecard distance. The course is a fair challenge and we had an enjoyable outing.
