Nice get away
It was like a private course, less than eight people were on the course. Greens were just aerated and sanded, putting still held the line well. Course was in great shape. Fun course to play.
I love the layout of the course. The greens had been air rated but I enjoyed the round.
State park course shines
Friendly staff. Clean restrooms. Restrooms well spaced on course. Greens look good. Fairways great. Really impressed and will return soon. Possibly with the Lodge/Golf package.
Fantastic Golf Course
Just would like to say the golf course was in excellent condition, from the tee box to the greens! Would recommend and look forward to coming back and playing again.

A little jewel
We had a great time playing this course! The greens were great. It’s just a fun course!
Excellent condition, a challenge
The staff was outstanding and friendly. The course was in good shape, but I gave it a 4 because there was no sand on the cat's. Therefore divots were not filled. For the first time to play, the course required dinne thoughtful play. i.e. iron off the tee, long wood on second shot.
Great golf great value!
We thoroughly enjoyed our round today. The course was is good shape and it challenged us on the drive and fairway balls. Greens were not difficult but in good shape for a fair putt. We camped at the state campground there which made it even better! Nice token fed driving range too.
The course needs range marshals,
Awful pace of play.The group in front of us would not pull their club out of the bag until other player was finished with his shot. A walking 2some showed up from nowhere on hole 12 with a kid that that hit the ball maybe 15 yards at a time. The man with him let him play the entire hole. Thank god they quit on hole 15. Then we caught up with the terribly slow group again still 17. I don't think I will ever go back
Everything was great. We where just disappointed that there was no food availble beside crackers and chips. No hot dogs.
Great course - Angry staff
If the staff was 1/10 as good as the course I would have given 5 stars. This normally doesn't bother me. However, for some reason the staff at this course has been like this for years. They act like they would rather you be somewhere else. Not all of them, there are some very nice ones.
The course itself is one of the best if not the best south of Atlanta.
Great course with some challenges. Really liked the elevation difference on the holes. Course was dry after all the rain we had and pace of play was great no waiting on slower groups. We had a group of 3 and played in under 4 hours.
