Stonebridge Golf Club

Fun course with many wide open fairways. Signature hole was awesome and challenging! Friendly staff and hidden location make it a great place to go and not be on top of other groups.

Overall course was in great shape, will be pristine when the greens fill in from recent airification. Not a course you can wildly bomb a driver all day as there is water or ob on almost all the holes. Very friendly pro, gave us a yardage book since it was our first time.

To me this is one of the better moderately priced courses around. I would have given it 5 stars for our round but they had just 'punched & sanded' the greens. But, that's golf and punching the greens is a way of life. Only real issue we had was that beverage cart pretty much non-existent. However, I WILL be back.

What a pleasant surprise to find a well maintained and very interesting layout at a public access course.

The third time I have played here and enjoyed it greatly. If I didn't live an hour away, I definitely would play there regularly. The course was in great shape. The only negative was that the greens were very firm. Balls were not holding quite the way I would have liked.

We always enjoy Stonebridge. It is a little far out but we make a point to visit regularly. If you have not been you should definitely set a day aside.

My golfing experience at stonebridge could not have gone better! From the great reception at the clubhouse to the wonderful course, the day was wonderful from beginning to end. The greens were in great shape, and I absolutely loved the layout. I will definitely be back to play this course again!

The only thing preventing me from giving this course a five star rating is that I played it in the winter and the greens are Bermuda so they were dormant (but still rolled well). The clubhouse was nice and well stocked. I have played this course before and they seemed to have made the minor improvements that took it from a really good course to a great course.

Love this golf course! Immaculately maintained. Challenging layout without being intimidating although there are lots of sand traps, narrow fairways, hazardous hazards, and water wandering along and into several fairways. And beware of # 9. It's a booger!

Watch for large groups playing , made for very slow play 5+ hours. Otherwise, beatuiful course, great staff and great value.

If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing round, go to Stonebridge. Very beautiful area and the course is in great shape. The new greens, installed last year, are perfect. They are large and putt very true. Friendly staff. Go tee it up !

Interesting, challenging layout. Good length from blue tees. Accuracy from the tee box is a must. I like #9 because this dogleg left provides several options for approaching the green.

I do love this course, however, it is normally well over priced. Although, using the discounted rates found on GolfNow, this course is definitely worth the money. Well manicured and not a simple course by any means. If you're fairly consistent, there should be no problem for you breaking into the low 80's or 70's on this course. The namesake 9th hole is gorgeous and a tough Eagle hole.

Wish course was closer to Atlanta but worth the drive over to Rome - greens great shape and very quick....hole numbers 9-11 are beautiful....

Very nice course located not too far from where we live. It was worth the drive. Staff was very nice and course was in excellent shape when we were there.
