Fields Ferry Golf Club

Played for the first time June 5, 2025 with 3 buddies. The greens had been pinched maybe a few weeks before. Still extremely bumpy. I don’t think they are going to be very good anytime soon. We teed off at 11:30. The GPS on the cart not only shows the hole and yardage it keeps time of play. I’m not sure when it starts but by the 2nd hole it was beeping at us to speed up showing we were 3 minutes behind a pace of play of 4 hours. Since we were playing the course for the first time we took a couple of minutes on the tee box to figure out which tee box to play plus we had to wait for the group ahead to hit their second shots. We had a twosome behind us so let them hit up on the 3 hole par 3 and go through. They were still in the fairway on the 4th so waited a couple of minutes. Now the timer was getting very in happy and beeping more and more. And then started wanting us to skip a hole. Bottom line is that even though the GPS said we were behind the entire round we finished in 4 hours.

the workers are rude and need to learn how to be respectful. will never go back here nor will i be recommending this place for other golfers.

I love the layout and challenging design of this course. Plenty of risk/reward shot options. Above all the staff is always receptive and course conditions immaculate. I always enjoy playing Fields Ferry when I’m in the area. Great value for your money! I just wish I lived less than 5 hours away.

Great course - only complaint was we finished the front nine in 2 hours on the dot but because the two some in front of us was a hole ahead of us they told us we had to pick up the pace. We ended up finishing the hole thing just under 4 hours but to be rushed after a 2 hour front 9 seems in reasonable. I normally do not like to be held up from groups in front of my however if they are playing a reasonable 2 hour 9 holes then I wouldn’t complain.

Would def go back however they should specify the pace of play they are expecting

Best to book online and eliminate golf now

Wouldn’t allow ice in cooler and played to long on hot day with no cart girl?

I would pay 20. Fee to bring my cooler and not have to do without for extended periods.

This is for all courses, most I’ve found disappointing!

I have played Fields Ferry for many years, course is great. Greens and Fairways are always in good shape, staff friendly.

Also, egg and chicken salad sandwiches from the grill are also consistently good.

My wife and I plan to play course again next week.

This was a great course! $26 twilight rate after 3 or 4. I played on a Monday as a single and everybody I talked to along the way was so nice and friendly. Had a few people let me play through without a problem. Even though there has been some rain recently, the course was in great shape. The greens rolled perfect and the fairways and tee boxes were excellent.

Very nice reasonably priced course. The staff makes for a great experience. Well worth the money. You won’t regret playing Fields Ferry.

The golf course is in phenomenal shape. All areas tee boxes, fairways,rough and greens. The green are very well manicured and have great Bermuda grass. There pace is excellent. The overall course conditions are better than many higher priced resort courses I have played. If you have not played this course it’s a hidden Jewel.
