Heather Ridge Golf Course

About
HeatherRidge Golf Course is a nine-hole course with all the challenges of a full-length course. It's an ideal round for when you don't have time to play 18 holes. Water has a prominent presence throughout thanks to a creek that winds through the entire course with tributaries that snake in and out of the holes and there are also ponds that come into play. You'll find water on a total of seven holes. There are a few other tricky spots to watch out for as well, including subtle breaks in the greens. Hitting straight is the key to scoring well and both accuracy and creative shot-making skills are needed. HeatherRidge G.C. has appeal for players of all skill levels and the affordable rates make it doubly appealing.

I did not think about having water, as there was no water on the course in which to refill water bottle. Otherwise, I liked the course.
Father/son round
We hit the links while the girls were shopping. Great course and great time
Good value
Overall, a good value. I actually wish they had the space for 18 holes instead of just 9. Challenging and good features. I can play solo and finish in roughly 90 minutes (it would be faster if I played better, haha!). Already asked a friend to play here later and looking forward to playing again.
Best 9 Hole Course in the Area
Best 9 hole course in the area! The only disappointment is that they don't have a driving range to warm up at. However, Bittersweet is about 5 minutes away if you want to get in a bucket before you play.
Great Value in Gurnee
This course is very fun to play. The first hole sets up beautifully for some confidence, which is then severely tested immediately on the second hole. Hole 5 is challenging and fun. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and courteous. Finished my nine holes (playing two balls) in just 90 minutes. Will definitely play here again and refer theis course to friends and family.
great to play considering heavy rain from prior night!
First time at Heather Ridge
The course is great. The staff was amazing and friendly. What a well kept manicure course will be a go to for future nine holes
Challenging
As you get older these courses appear more and more difficult to score. But I still love this course. Used to score some pars and perhaps once in a blue moon catch a bird but now they are all pars bogeys and double. That’s par for course. Still love this course!!!
Beautiful course
Very scenic. Even my wife loved it though she doesn’t golf and can’t swing a club but she knows everything about golf (and all other major sports).
Great day and course
This is a great course for mid to high handicap players.wanting a fun but challenging course. The course is well kept with a friendly staff. The course plays long enough to use driver often and offers the variety of an 18 hole course. Only negative can be rate of play sometimes but can experience this in most courses. Enjoy!
Heather Ridge did not disappoint.
Tee boxes, fairways, and greens all in good shape. Most bunkers were playable. Few bunkers needed attention. The practice chipping area also in good shape. Had fun playing 9 in 2 hours. Went for a burger and beer afterwards at the patio bar which was excellent. Carts do not have GPS but have excellent seating and ran well. All staff were friendly and attentive. Good value for the money spent. I'll definitely be playing there again.
