Be smart at this course.
I love a good challenge and Ansley Settindown is the ultimate test of strategic golf. This course is too tough for many, but still very playable and enjoyable, and a great value. The practice facility is the best in Atlanta, the staff is extremely golf knowledgeable and helpful, and the clubhouse is always lively. I highly recommend this golf course.
A Golfer’s Golf Club
SD is all about the golf, top quality golf and where everything is easy, except the golf.
A seriously challenging course. A flat front nine with water on the first five holes. The back nine starts out similar to the front, before some up and downs take you through the finishing six holes. Throughout the course, good shots are rewarded while bad shots are penalized. A parkland course with visual hints of Scottish links..
Bermuda grass throughout, except for the winter months when the short grass is over-seeded with rye.
Exceptional course for those that prefer walking, which is somewhat of a rarity around the hills of Georgia.
Great Challenging course.
In my top 3 courses I have ever played, you need to know a member which my brother and father in law are so I play it on a regular basis. Course is always in great condition, takes a few times to figure best places to miss which aren’t many, it’s a challenge everytime and you have to be smart..short side yourself or get above hole watch out!!! Staff are great, Practice facilities are 5star. Clubhouse gives you that old school feel which I love!
Just pick the right Tees and enjoy the ride!!
