Greens are terrible the valve is also terrible the pace of play is extremely slow no beverage cart and just underwhelming in every way possible

It’s getting better. It’s inconsistent but it’s actually playable again. Hopefully the work on the greens continues and we see Bacon park get back to its glory! Keep up the good work.

I have watched Bacon Park deteriorate over the last seven years. However, the last two times I have played there I've seen significant improvements. The tees and fairways are in good shape. It was always the greens that were horrid. But, it is obvious, that some money and expertise are now part of the plan. The greens have been vastly improved. And the ones that are still poor are being attended to. Props to the course superintendent and the man or woman supplying the funds.

This is a fun course with very dry fairways and fast greens. A number of the greens are in need of repair but overall the course was in good shape. The staff was very friendly and it is a great value..

Convenient location.Pro shop ok.Staff pleasant. Driving range fine. Add a couple of benches please.Chipping green is good. BUT Only 2 greens out of the front 9 were in playable condition. Restroom on course was foul.Would prefer better greens instead of newer golf carts.

This course is making some great improvements the greens are so much better and the golf carts are brand new this new management is doing great things for this golf course. The people always friendly and very helpful to getting you a T time . Can’t wait to see this place in the next six months it’s going to be super great!!

They have very nice new golf carts and the fairways are in decent shape but the greens with make you regret paying more than ten dollars to play there. There were a couple greens that had sand buckets in the middle of them. I think this course must be a tax right of for someone.

Course was not bad. There were a couple greens with damage in local areas. It is early in the season and the conditions were okay. It was a nice day.

Bacon Park has hit a new low. The greens are unplayable, patchy, bumpy, and have craters filled with sand on most greens. Management is just as bad; the lady at the front desk is disorganized to the point of disabling our cart mid round due to her own clerical error. Rough course, front desk has anger issues. This course should be avoided or used as a last resort.

They charge you 60 dollars for a course that has more craters in the greens than Europe after world war 2!!

Greens had some bad areas but most are vastly improved. Everything else was in good shape. They are obviously making an effort to improve the course.

Beyond expensive for the substandard course. went twice and charged 2x on my card after i left.

I don’t know who in the world is leaving for our five stars in this golf course they need to remove the advertisement as it being a Donald Ross design. I’m still in shock. I spent $60 a person to play here today. Worst conditions ever most greens were diseased and full of craters I mean, I really like to meet the people that are leaving these reviews. Do not waste your time or money.

This course has been in poor shape for so long. I always stayed away after playing it a few times. However, over the past many months the conditions are gradually improving. Tees are in decent shape, fairways have grass and, finally, the greens are acceptable. Keep up the good work.

Always pass by this course during my deliveries during the week. Course looks great from afar, but sadly, this course is far from good. Booked tee time online. Got an email this morning stating the course would be walk only due to the weather. Ok. Pulled in to parking lot. Met by the grounds keepers, a herd of goats. No, seriously, a herd of goats. Course only had one pull cart, so we decided to huff it carrying our bags. Course plays fair. Nothing out of the ordinary. Greens were very good, but some of the hole locations were questionable. This course will definitely be a one and done for me. Just not what I expected.

This is my local municipal course, and I learned how to hit on this range (mats). It's location right near my house and work make it ideal to stop and play. I will say the golf carts have screens with GPS, and when I first played this course here a few years ago, it was in disarray, such that a friend I was playing with said he would never come back. This was just as I was starting to learn the game of golf.

After taking my some time away from the course, I returned with my cousin to play a round as they were able to accommodate us immediately after a local course was "closed for the next week" despite us being able to book a tee time on this site. I found the greens to be much better kept, the fairways green and healthy, and the tee boxes had never been an issue.

My only suggestion is that they spruce up the pro shop. They have friendly staff, but need more gear, and to capitalize on the "Bacon" and get creative and some high quality golf gear in there.

Overall extremely impressed and glad I brought family to this course as it was MUCH much better than a couple years ago. I would return and will return, even if it's a solo round.

Greens are getting better, a few still have sand spots and crab grass. Layout is fun but the pace of play sucks. Got behind a 4 some of older gentleman and it took a little over 5 hours to play 18. I understand they are older and slower but they need to let people play through.
