1st Time playing
Very cool lay out, first time playing here and will be going back. Some blind shots that make it challenging, course was very dry but it was because of the lack of rain we've had.
Hidden Gem!
Great staff! Fun layout. If you get aggressive be prepared to pay the price. Firm and fast. Greens are firm and role great. Nice bunkers which was a nice surprise. Fairways are a little thin but very payable. Nice 9 hole course. Tee boxes for all skill levels. Oh. Super comfy carts, nicest I've seen with GPS and hole layout on the screen. Played 3 times this week. Love this course. With the wind, firm greens from the tips it can be a challenge if you make a mistake.
Best value course I've played.
Pebblebrook brooke is off the beaten path but has brand new golf carts with comfortable seats, a very friends staff, and is at a price point I'd happily pay every day of the week. The only drawbacks would be there is some rocky areas in fairways that will absolutely mess up a clubs but that's not really in their control. Course is tight and challenging. Best golf carts I've ever rode. They have GPS tracking which allows you to know distance and if someone is still on the hole you're on.
9 hole but plays fast
Great value for 18 holes and cart. Carts brand new with GPS maps. Play was quick. Got all 18 holes done in just over 3 hours.
Best bang for your buck
Fantastic greens, it's a 9 hole course you play twice. The staff was exceptionally friendly. Prices were the best bang for buck ive played so far. This is a very laid back course and I definitely plan to play more frequently and I live over an hour away. Best greens I've played on for under $70 a round. I reccomend giving this place a shot.
Course in great shape 1 par 3 no 4 has some bad spots I suspect from poor air circulation other than that was all good .
Wish they maintained it bettet
A nine hole track, so play from different tees the 2nd time around. Greens were the best part of the course. Quick and true. Collars were ok. Fairways were TERRIBLE. Tee boxes not so much, but the ladies were just marked out spots in the fairway. Bunkers had sand in them, so that's something. The layout IS pretty cool. Alot of elevation changes and ball movement required. WISH they maintained it better. Enjoy, but don't expect too much.
Perfect country golfing
Staff was super friendly golf course was fun to play green fees won’t break the bank way better than my expectations
A little off the beaten path...
If you're a 10+ handicapper looking for a good time and don't mind some bad lies every so often then give it a shot. The course is fun and greens are in really good shape, although there are places in some of the fairways where you can lose your ball. There was literally like 4 other people on the golf course, which we didn't mind, and we were able to play 18 (played through 9 twice) in about 3 hrs. If any of you remember Red Oak in Cusseta it's a very similar 9 hole version.
Poorly Maintained Course, Worse Staff
We tried out this course because it was a "hot deal" and thought to try it out. On arrival, the staff was upset that we made our reservation online because they don't make as much money off of the transaction. He told us that we needed to hurry up and tee off (4:06pm tee off, 3 players) because he needed to leave by 6pm (dusk not until 8pm). We were unsure if he was serious or just giving us a hard time, until he comes out while we are on the 8th green and tells us we need to stop golfing and come in so he can lock up.
The course itself was not in great shape, extremely hard ground on the fairways and near the green. If you hit anywhere outside of the fairway, there was a good chance you could damage your clubs by hitting off of rocks. The number of elevated tee boxes was enjoyable, but ultimately ruined by being rushed the entire round and getting kicked out early.
