Ok golf

It’s weird that I played at 2 other courses earlier in the week and how different the fairway and green conditions were. Way more brown than I was expecting and greens were in rough shape. I gouged one of my wedges in a hard bunker. But the no -resident rate was so much more reasonable than many of the courses on Oahu. The staff weee super nice. I still had a great time.

We got the tt thru Golf now and I’m so glad we played with the discounted rate. It is not worth $160 for sure

Fairways and greens are in no way in great shape

ProShop has great customer service

Course has potentials and I hope it will be improved soon

Hard Course

This course definitely isn’t for beginners. The front 9 on the championship is extremely tough some blind holes and tight fairways and tee boxes don’t provide a lot of room for error. The fairways could use some love and the greens are very inconsistent. Definitely recommend someone who likes a challenging course but the price is a little high for the quality of a municipal course.

At every tee box the ball washers were dry or had a scant amount of dirty water. I would say 8 out of 18 were broken and completely unusable. How does Hawaii Kai justify this degree of neglect?

Thank you, GolfNow/GolfPass for the Hot Deal and reduced rate. Otherwise I think the non-resident rate for this course is way too high (although this is true of most Hawaii golf, imho). I will be playing this course again. Great value for what I paid via GolfNow and GolfPass. Lots of locals (singles) not interested in pairing up which made pace of play a little more slow. Staff was super friendly - aloha spirit!
