Raccoon Creek Golf Course
About
The Raccoon Creek Golf Course is a public, 18-hole golf course in Littleton. It covers 7,045 yards from its longest tees and plays to a par of 72. The course has some difficult elements, such as elevation changes, but it is still beginner-friendly. Water hazards come into play on seventeen holes. The most difficult hole of the course, one of the most difficult in Colorado according to the Colorado Golf Associates, is the par-3 17th hole. The hole runs alongside a creek, the creek that the course is named after, and requires a shot over a portion of it to a very well protected green.

Challenging for all level golfers
The highlight of the course is good condition golf cart and the GPS provided.
Great day for golf
We had a nice experience at Raccoon Creek, course in great shape and no wait or push. Friendly service and nice clubhouse.
Doesnt hold the value
Could have been better. None of the issues were fault of the staff or anything, probably more so fall on management. With all the remodel and construction going on, the course itself didn’t hold the same value as when I played there last summer.
The new clubhouse is very nice however condition of the course is obviously suffering as to be expected. A lot of the rough was overgrown making balls fairly tough too find in places they didn’t need to be. Some of the bunkers were marked ground under repair due to lack of maintenance l. They could address about twice the number they had.
Staff was extremely kind and friendly, just given the overall condition of the facility, the course isn’t holding the value to justify the rates. It certainly appears that after rhey finish the work the property will return to fantastic condition, just seems that one can can find better value even just in the southwest area of town.
3 hours for 9 holes!!
Nice new clubhouse and a scenic course. But my god , so slow. And no rangers to enforce the pace of play
It took 3 hours to play 9 holes. Never saw a ranger the entire time and the beverage cart just once.
The course was in good shape and I would have loved to play all 18 but it was not fun to wait on every hole. I wasted $67 on 9 holes
The course is in fantastic shape
I would highly recommend this course. The staff there was very friendly and accommodating . The course is in great shape and the new clubhouse is fantastic.
Great course if you can tee off early
First time playing this course and all the reviews I read prior mentioned pace of play as an issue. I booked a 6am tee time to ensure I didn't run into a pace of place problem and could see as we finished around 10:20am that the course was filled up and pace of play would have been an issue.
Layout is awesome, fairways were in great shape and rough is somewhat penalizing. Greens looked great, but needs to be cut and rolled. They were rather slow for looking so smooth. Only complain about the course was green speeds.
Just not up to snuff
This course is fun, but no where near the value of $75 riding 18 holes. This course feels, but more importantly plays, like an executive course. Id be fine paying $50 for 18 riding. I will say this, though the course was in rough shape, the greens were great. Thumbs up for that, but I was disappointed.
Day At Raccoon Creek
Course has challenging distances for long and short hitters. Long shots may go off the fairways and present a difficult second shot. Short shots may leave too much a distance to the green on the second shot. It is a great course.
Excellent new clubhouse
A little raining that day but course was great. Shot a 75 . Enjoyed a great fathers day. Price was right, course was great....great day.
Awesome staff members
Very friendly staff. Fun course to play. Even tho in the city limits very little road noise at all. Tea boxes are a bit uneven and bumpy, but overall a great place to play
Nice Day in Littleton, CO
Raccoon is one of the loveliest and well laid out golf courses to play on. Couple that with he Denver area weather of sunshine and cool weather, one would think it is Paradise.
Laid out to walk or ride, the different tee boxes will challenge and the par-3s are gorgeous.
Horrible pace
The course is gorgeous. However, the pace of play is horrendous. We normally play 36 in 5.5 hours. This course took 5.5 hours to play 18, after being promised they could get us out for another 9. Unacceptable. No marshall. Definitely not coming back, if it was a weekend round I would understand but on a Wednesday??? Come on.
Pace of play
It could just be a one time deal, but we didn't finish our round due to the pace of play. Our two some and another couple of gentlemen called it at hole 15 after 5 hours of play. Great layout, but stop and go kinda takes the wind out of your sails at each hole.
Great course but there was issues
Love this course a great challenge. Unfortunately golf now did not mention that the greens were aerated so we drove , PAID, and played on the WORST greens of the year. A real bummer also because we paid over $50 and if I knew the greens we re in this condition I wouldn't have played if it was free. Wish I could upload photos
