Raccoon Creek Golf Course
About
The Raccoon Creek Golf Course is a public, 18-hole golf course in Littleton. It covers 7,007 yards from its longest tees and plays to a par of 72. The course has some difficult elements, such as elevation changes, but it is still beginner-friendly. Water hazards come into play on seventeen holes. The most difficult hole of the course, one of the most difficult in Colorado according to the Colorado Golf Associates, is the par-3 17th hole. The hole runs alongside a creek, the creek that the course is named after, and requires a shot over a portion of it to a very well protected green.

Won't be back
Thursday afternoon resulted in a 5 hour round with waiting on every shot. Saw a marshall once in 18 hours and they were 50 yards away. Bad design with multiple water hazards at 170-210 yards from the blue tees (6500 yards) with too short white tees. Only saw food cart on 8 and 17. Course wasn't in bad condition and would be walkable, but the normal (according to the regulars in my group) slow play will result in my going elsewhere.
The BOMB
Absolute fun! Awesome course awesome layout beautiful scenery. I had a great time thank you Raccoon Creek!!! I will be back!! TBurbank
Green speeds slow, good shape overall
Almost really really good. Slow green speeds and some areas of concern across the course. Overall in good shape, but atm full rac rate is too much.
Nice new look
Racoon Creek has a whole new look same great layout fabulous new farmhouse clubhouse. Too bad bartender was about as friendly as a pay toilet in a diarrhea ward. Rude inattentive and not very friendly
Younger bar backs were better
Ordered a small dinner salad that was covered with shredded cheese way to much seemed more cheese than salad. Was disgusting.
I’ll be back to golf but probably avoid the bar restaurant as we sat at a table till we were sick of being ignored after golfing and had to move to the seats at the bar to actually get any service if you could call it that from the previously mentioned mr. personality.
Nice course!
Course was in great shape. Well worth the $57 dollar GN rate. Read reviews that said the course was notorious for slow play and it was correct. 5 hour round on a Friday. Marshals on course but it didn’t help. Course has a lot of trouble, trees and water on nearly every hole.
I've been playing this course for many years and it never disappoints! I was pleasantly surprised to see the new Clubhouse, very nice and the whole layout fits right in with the course! I would always recommend playing this course!
Great course
Enjoyed the course layout, liked the creek in most holes. Golf carts with GPS was cool.
Not worth the $
Hadn't played Raccoon Creek for years due to notoriously slow play. Today's round had decent pace of play but it's sad to see how owners/managers have let the course deteriorate with many bare spots, polluted and smelly ponds, sand bunkers being replaced with grass, etc. Many local courses in better shape at lower cost.
Slow Play
The round took over 5 hours. We were told by a marshall it was due to a men's club event in the morning. In addition, the group in front of us was drinking a lot and even rolled their cart on 16. I think the cart girl should have cut them off.
Enjoy a five hour round
Five hours to play on a Saturday. Rangers do nothing, management does nothing. I will do something - play elsewhere in the future.
First timer
This course is well rated. The greens are very challenging. Staff is friendly and helpful. Pace of play is avg. Nice challenge.
A Sevensome? Really?!?!
Course was in good condition, weather was good alternately sunny, cloudy, warm and breezy. Played front 9 with a threesome who only played nine, then joined the twosome that was in front of me for the back nine. After playing the 10th hole we arrived on the 11th tee to see seven golfers playing together in front of us. No marshal anywhere to address this. Needless to say the back nine pace was arduous at best.
Course is in excellent condition
Had a great time. Was a bit rainy, but the course was incredibly fresh, greens were perfectly curated. And the course itself is an absolute delight. Highly recommend this course.
Fun holes, lots of scoring opportunities
This course was very nice. Not too many roads adjacent to the holes, and lots of trees to give the round a nice secluded feel. Food and bev prices were very fair, and the course was in great shape!
