We really enjoyed the layout the course was in great condition and fun to play. Several holes had great views of the ocean. Excellent value and the staff was fantastic

The greens were in terrible condition in most cases. The tee boxes weren’t much better. The course itself was in fair shape. A very disappointing round. The course has gotten far worse than it used to be. Not good value for the money any more. Other courses in Maui are far better.

Wonderful staff at the carts and clubhouse! Course was a bit worn out from what I remember 4 years ago. Good affordable price for typical Hawaiian rates for non-residents. Enjoyed my time but a lot of new golfers and couples trying to teach each other made for a slow day. Greens very slow. Running at a 8-9.

The course is in rough shape. Repair going on and in most cases not well maintained.

This is a course that we usually golf at every year, and from last March to this March it looks like there has literally been zero upkeep. The greens were in poor condition and there were some very dangerous spots on broken cart paths. I think we will pay more money and play at the Kaanapali courses as opposed to making the trip to Kihei and playing here.

We always play at this golf course when we stay in Maui. The course offers great value for the price, especially considering the stunning location. The views of the ocean and surrounding mountains are breathtaking, making each hole feel like a mini-vacation. The layout is challenging but fair, and the conditions were well-maintained throughout. The staff was friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. My only small complaint is that some areas could benefit from a bit more attention, but for the price and the incredible setting, it’s hard to beat. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great round of golf with unbeatable scenery!

This golf course is awesome and has many memories. It’s fun to ride and drive the golf cart. My son, Samuel, husband, Pete, and I really enjoy playing golf there.

Played a round with the family. Rental clubs were in excellent shape. Staff was friendly. Greens were beautiful. Had a wonderful time!

This was our first time playing the course. It has a great layout and the course is in very good shape. We will play it again

Staff were all great, course was nice and in decent shape. Good value for Maui golf, also has a well equipped driving range which would be a great place to hang out and have some drinks even if you’re not playing a round.

Course is very approachable, not overly challenging or tough. Carts had speakers and plenty of cup holders, cooler, gps etc. Proshop has some cool stuff and is reasonably priced.

Overall a great experience and had a good time.

Right off first, I want to include the ENTIRE STAFF, to walking in and receiving a Great Smile and a “good morning” from the check-in staff, to the Starters, and receiving your almost new cart, with AI features and smart phone two speaker hook-up to play your music. And full of ice and a wet towel !

I got my first hole-in-one here. I waited since I was eight years old to get my first Ace, about 10 years ago now. A 198 yard with an easy three wood. I believe I’m about due again. Because if I have to wait another 50 years, I’m in a deep Sand Pit of trouble, LOL !! I’ve been attending this Golf Course since about 2009. It has always had a great staff. The course has always been in good, if not great shape. Also, to be fair, every Golf course gets its bout with a weed or some kind of disease, on the greens. But I can tell you proudly and for sure, that Maui Nui stays on top of it. As fast as they hear about it, even from customers. Because we ( as players of this great game), do also have a responsibility to let them know, there might be a spot breaking out on whatever Whole or Green you’re on. It just makes good sense to communicate to someone, rather than let the weed or a disease, destroy all of the Greens, ( And then you want to complain about it ). It is a team effort when it comes to taking care of a golf course.

The price is fair and great for locals (Thank you for thinking of us). I would most Definitely recommend Maui Nui, to all Visitors. Also, to beginners, intermediate and advanced players. Great bunker, placements and water play. A great challenging course to have fun at. I shoot in a low 90s most of the time, with breaking into the high 80s once in a while. So, i’m not really sure where that ranks me as a player, intermediate…? Definitely not in the Advance player, otherwise I’d be on the PGA Tour, LOL !!

The new GM that has been there for about eight years now, (If I remember correctly). I remember His first day, on the job. It was an honor and a pleasure, to meet Him and to welcome Him to Maui. I wished Him much Aloha and luck. He has really Improved certain areas that needed attention to, as courses do age. It is always a pleasure to greet him. He has put together a Great Complete Staff that is all smiles and always willing to help get You out on the course ! A Big Thank You, to him. He Is consistently trying to improve your experience. Please understand, No disrespect to all of the other, Fine and Beautiful courses on Maui, but there are just a couple that could take a few, “inputs” from Him. Congratulations to you, on a job well done, and to All of your hard working colleagues. It’s not an easy thing to work with the public, it takes special people to do that. I sincerely believe, you have found a lot of them, to help you get to where you’re at now.

I like the layout. Greens were beyond awful, cart girl was nice, the girl at the pro shop told us there was no food but a guy we played with got a sandwich at the turn. Very, very slow round 5+ hours.
