Lots of fun not super challenging. Nice mix of holes and no gimmicks! Will be back.

Despite few players on course - high handicaps groups slow play made for longer than necessary round - no Marshall - good conditions - slow greens - rental clubs were excellent - ninth hole still unfinished year later

My wife and I played the course and very much enjoyed the round. We both liked the layout and the pace of play was under 4 hours for our mid-morning start time, which I always appreciate.The course was in good shape and, although the greens were slower than I am used to, they were true. It's a very fair course for women and they had excellent Callaway Rogue golf club rentals, which my wife appreciated. We would play it again.

We are in Maui for one week and planned to play twice while we are there. Even we stay at Kaanapali, the golf courses nearby such as Plantation, Bay, and Kaanapoli golf course all cost over $200 a round...

It was nice to find an affordable course like Maui Nui. The condition is decent, and the on site restaurant has good drinks (good cocktails for $7) and decent foods. We were happy. Will be back.

The 9th hole was under construction and a par 3 was added instead of the par 4. The cart was good. The course is challenging. The irrigation on the back 9 could use some work.

The greens and fairways need water but overall very nice and will be back.

They do have one hole closed there fixing!

We really like this course. This time we noticed that they have some irrigation issues. Maybe they just don't have enough worker to take care of the course.

While one hole was closed and others had muddy conditions, this was still a fun and pretty course. And a good value.

The staff is extremely friendly and does a great job accommodating players. When space allows, players can go out in pairs, or even singles. We were allowed to play the back 9 twice when we asked. Our round was 3.5 hours.

Course conditions were fairly poor until the 15th hole, where the greens were overhauled. #15, 17 and 18 are new and in great shape, albeit a bit grainy, like most Hawaiian golf courses.

The layout is fun, with a good mix of easy and more challenging holes, but there are a number of blind tee shots.

The carts have GPS, but a range finder is a must. The greens can be large, so the distance given by the GPS can be up to 15 yards off when measuring distance to the pin, even though the GPS says "to the pin."

There are fantastic views of the island to be had, but many are from a green looking backwards, so take your time playing and look around and check out the views.

The driving range is not pretty, but players hit in the shade (which is a real blessing in the Hawaiian sun) and each bay has a Top Tracer computer to give all kinds of data about each shot. That's a game changer!

Maui Nui never fails to provide a great golf experience for visitors to Maui. The price is great with a hot deal on golf now. The staff are all very nice and organized as there alot of players stacked up sometimes to tee off. The greens were a little rough, but otherwise the course was good. Many challenging holes and we always meet the nicest players.

The couse was manicured and excellent for all levels. The pro shop and equipment employees were A+ re: customer service.. Overall an enjoyable experience.

Nice to see so many improvements on the greens and generally better conditions.

Had a great time playing this course several times and joined the annual play card. It allows us to play several times on our visit and later this year when we return. Great STAFF, Food and Golf. Couldn’t be any better. Have played this course every year that we come. We have been coming over 20 years. Thank you Maui Nui

Great course to play, very challenging and interesting course, I normally play in Miami, Florida and there’s not many hills, so playing here was new and fun

This was my first time in HI and I opted for a cheaper option to play. The course condition was not the best, random dead spots and construction areas, greens were long and slow. Not really worth the 100$+ I paid to play.
