Pukalani Country Club has a unique location at the 1,100-foot elevation of the famous Mount Haleakala, an extinct volcano whose name means “House of the Rising Sun.” The dramatic elevation offers breathtaking views that span the West Maui Mountains to the Pacific Ocean. The golf course features wide, undulating fairways and fast, sloped greens. The gently rolling terrain can cause some tricky uneven lies. There are trees and well placed bunkers scattered throughout to provide further challenge. Pukalani Country Club has a unique feature on the par-3 third hole. The hole gives golfers the options of hitting to one of two very different greens, one which requires a tee shot over a tree-filled gully and another that requires a shot beyond a cliff to a pal tree-lined green.

Can’t be beat for the price

Although it’s not right on the water. It’s up on the side of the mountain and you can get some good views. Overall great course, and for the price it’s a no-brainer. Would go back for sure. Nothing fancy, but well taken care of and some newer carts were nice. Greens were extremely slow, but made for a challenge. Would recommend if you don’t want to spend $200 or more on a round of golf.

Best golf course on Maui !

I had a very wonderful day golfing Pukalani golf course . I was a single and joined by two gentlemen that swear by this beautiful course. Loved every minute. Views are spectacular and the people here are ALL FANTASTIC 👍😁

Nice Round but too s!low!

I enjoyed playing Pukalani GC, with one exception -- the 5.3 HOUR SLOWWW Round. The course was not at all crowded, based on more than 1/2 the carts still being inside the tent. But, Pukalani has a huge problem with BAD MARSHALS, who don't do their JOB at all! Either they try to kick you off 35 minutes early, or they do nothing to ensure a 4.3hr, pace of play. This isn't difficult people... Please figure it out!!!

Super friendly and accommodating staff

First of all thank you to the staff for helping out with range balls. Machine only takes dollar bills and they were nice enough to lend me the 3 George Washington’s. Thank you very much. Course was in great shape, Greens were a little long but in great shape. Bunkers could use some work. Nice layout. Some tight holes some open ones. Good course for different levels of golfer. Will defininately be back.

Cook Pine lined fairways, great elevation changes, challenging wind conditions, beautiful views in a local setting on the slopes of the Haleakala volcano. Very friendly staff! I would highly recommend this course to anyone (but please don’t tell anyone!)

I had fun at this course. This is a beautiful course with ocean views at some holes.

The fairways are wide open and there are not too many sand bunkers. I will say that it is not a challenging course for experienced golfers but for me, it was perfect. I felt that my ball went further than usual.

One negative thing is that we were bouncing hard when driving the cart path.

Very nice, but. . .

Course was great, staff was nice, and was told to have cart back by 6:30, but was asked to not tee off on the 18th even though it was only 6:15.

The gentleman was friendly about it, but it would've been nice to finish since I was still in the time frame given.

Pukalani is in great shape!

Pukalani is still my favorite local golf course! I played a fast round on Easter afternoon (3hr), normally impossible at Pukalani. Even the Marshall was nice… hopefully they fired that awful guy, David. “One bad Apple…”

Nice course but very busy the afternoon I was there, slow play.

Glow now was terrible- kept showing a Hot Deal but always “ no longer available “ by the time you complete info… for 3 days in a row. Unbelievable
