About
Pukalani Country Club has a unique location at the 1,100-foot elevation of the famous Mount Haleakala, an extinct volcano whose name means “House of the Rising Sun.” The dramatic elevation offers breathtaking views that span the West Maui Mountains to the Pacific Ocean. The golf course features wide, undulating fairways and fast, sloped greens. The gently rolling terrain can cause some tricky uneven lies. There are trees and well placed bunkers scattered throughout to provide further challenge. Pukalani Country Club has a unique feature on the par-3 third hole. The hole gives golfers the options of hitting to one of two very different greens, one which requires a tee shot over a tree-filled gully and another that requires a shot beyond a cliff to a pal tree-lined green.

Did not honor one of my prepaid reservation,
I bought 4 rounds and canceled one but when I got to the course they told me I only had two prepaid rounds and to take it up with golf now if I had a complaint. So I had to pay twice for the third player; once to golf now and another to the course.
This pace of play so slow and we didn’t finish , had to quit at 15th hole
Best views of the island from any course
Great value course. Doesn’t have the perks of a $300 course but for the price it exceeded all expectations. Lots of elevation changes, challenging holes and spectacular views on many holes. Loved it. My third time playing the course and I’ll be back again!
Only negative in my mind are the sand traps. It’s a misnomer because there is no sand.
Great coures
The course conditions equal a $200 course!! Greens are fast and fairways are lush.Will be coming back for sure. PS - green fees very economical.. Thanks Pukalani GC
Much friendlier than other Maui courses
Had traffic issues and arrived late for our tee time. They worked us right in. Thanks Tessie!
Great Shape
Course is in excellent shape with the exception of some of the cart path area that need work. Greens are in the best shape of all the courses we played this year! San straps could use more sand and less Maui dirt. Best value for a great round!
Great place to play
Course conditions were very good and greens were fast. Assume golf experience… Will be back. Also good rate.
reasonable priced
Very friendly staff. Because of very reasonable pricing course was very busy. Therefore pace of play was very slow. Hole #10 runs parallel to the driving range and is very dangerous as ball are landing all around you. Net needs to be restung properly. Overall very golfer friendly course.
Other than the cart paths the course was in good condition. Cart paths are pretty bad, but driving on fairway most of the time it was tolerable.
When in Maui stop here
We thought this was a beautiful course to play. Nothing fancy but fun challenging course. The staff was great. Met the manager Ron Huffman and he was great. Hope to get to Maui again.
Up Country
Fun coarse to play, lots of up hill and down hill holes, very challenging
Greens in great condition
Good value on Maui.
Only real issue is that there is NO sand in the bunkers.
