Course is very run down starting with the carts, also asked about a cooler. Was told that a "bag" of ice was 2 bux? Really not only do you have to pay for frozen water they give it to you a plastic bag, not exactly easy to keep your drinks in. No beverage cart and the so called cart paths are sparsely paved and mostly rough dirt roads. A totally goofy layout with poorly marked directions to each hole. The fairways are very thin, the only thing decent were the greens. All in all a dog track!! Spend a little more and go to Maui Nui, the greens are not as good but far superior in all other aspects.

Just a gem of a course carved in between tall pines and a few very colorful jacarandas. Large greens and plenty of wildlife to keep you amused. It is a course unlike the resort courses in the area and for the price, it is one of my favorite places to play here on Maui.

The greens are set a little slow and for me, hard to read. What appeared to be downhill was flat or even uphill! The biggest negative may be the bunkers as they have little sand.

Beautiful views. It was windy for my round and it made the 6400 yard white tees play all that and more. The rating from the white tees is only 117 but there are plenty of places to get into trouble. Unless you are expecting pristine conditions like Wailea, you will find this course a fun and wonderful adventure.

Pukalani golf course is located upcountry and as such the terrain is sloped, rolling and uphill.T he course is very well maintained and they have work hard on the greens over the past couple of years and are as good as we have seen them. When you play here you will play a local course frequented by residents. It is a hidden gem. It plays long ...almost 5600 from the forward tees. Cart are noisy and older but they do the job! Thx Pukalani for sharing your course with us and allowing island visitors to experience playing a real local golf course ...we will be back in 2023 Mahalo!

It was a pleasure to play on this course. For the price it was excellent

The course layout was nice. The condition of the fairways and greens were good. The sand traps were a bit firm, tough to get a decent shot out of. The views of Maui were excellent, a perspective you do not get from the ocean side courses. My only real complaint would be the condition of the driving range, it was in rough shape. I would have preferred mats since the grass hitting area was in such poor condition. Overall I had an enjoyable day and I would recommend it to friends and play the course again in the future.

I really enjoyed playing this course. To me it was a little hidden jewel that had some areas for challenging shots. The pace of play good given starting my round at 12:15. Fairways and greens were in very good shape.

Really like the layout of this course. It is moderately challenging without being gimmicky.

I played this course many times over the years. We are frequent visitors to Maui and it is always on our schedule. The driving range had no useful areas in the allotted section on the range to hit from everything was basically dirt. That was a start. The greens are in good shape however they’re very slow. The Teebox some selves are uneven in a lot of places and when you’re making shots over the canyons as it is the one par three becomes challenging. Staff in the pro shop was somewhat surly not particularly friendly. We were admonished for showing up early but as a regular golfer I’d like to get there early so I can warm up and practice. They have new rules about carts being in by a certain time which meant that we could not finish around we only got 17 holes in. Overall customer service is severely lacking however the courseis fun to play.

This course is in great shape for the price! Greens are in great condition. Pace of play was very slow.

Ranger kept on people to keep pace.

Great value & views for the money

Good course in better condition than 3 ~ 4yr ago.

Only gripe is that the Marshalls hassle you to quit & turn in your cart 30min before sundown. What golfer wants that?? We all know to head in when ball visibility becomes difficult. Boo to crummy management!
