Lockhaven Golf Course

Very good golf course. A lot of elevation changes to challenge the low handicapper but fair enough not to scare off the higher handicap golfer. Staff was friendly and accommodating. A little hard to find but well worth the effort.

This was our first time playing this course, and we very much enjoyed it. Other than the first 2 holes which were under repair, it was in fine shape. The doglegs provided some interest in club selection, and the greens were in excellent condition. We had a great time. In fact, I am going to play it again today.

Nothin special but a well maintained course. Pace of play was awesome. Finished in 3 hrs.

Great course, lots of great people, and great pricing. Really appreciate the addition of yardage markers.

The staff were EXCELLENT. Very friendly & helpful on arrival. The starter worked hard to keep everyone happy & moving on such a beautiful & busy day

Staff was friendly. Price was good. The greens were a little slow. They were running short of golf carts but mentioned 12 new carts were suposed to be delivered last week. Overall a nice day of golf.

Friendly staff. It is great layout for beginners and advance players. The price was great. Played 18 holes in just under 4 hours. Greens were nice and fast. I will play it again!!!

Great course. Staff couldn't be more accomodating. But, there were not enough golf carts to handle the golfers. We waited at least 45 minutes for carts from golfers who were finishing their rounds. Our tee time was 11:10 on a Thursday.

The fairways were in really good shape and the greens were in great shape also and holes one and two are slightly under repair but should be fine soon.

!st time playing this course open fairways loved the par 3 s very quite and will surely be going back a lot.

Lockhave is a beautifui course. The rates are a great value and they have a wonderfully friendly staff.

PLAYED SATURDAY JULY 20TH AROUND 11:00am. THE NUMBER ONE GREEN IS SHOWING THE DAMAGE FROM THE FLOODING EARLIER THIS YEAR OTHER THAN #1 GREEN,THE REST WERE IN GREAT SHAPE. THEY WERE A BIT SLOW,HOWEVER THE WEEK BEFORE THEY WERE FAST ENOUGH. NEVER ONCE DID WE WAIT TO HIT A SHOT. GREAT SCENERY AND THE COURSE PROVIDES PLENTY OF CHALLENGES AND YOU WILL FIND IT HARD TO MISS A GREEN ON AN APPROACH BECAUSE THEY ARE ENORMOUS. NOT MUCH WATER TO DEAL WITH, BUT PLENTY OF TREE'S. THEY ARE RUNNING SOME GREAT PROMO'S AND ITS HARD TO BEAT FOR THE MONEY. fAIRWAYS WERE FANTASTIC.

Great course for the price. Only complaint is the pace of play needs to be monitored better.

Lockhaven is a beautiful challenging must play golf course. It is set amongst old growth oak trees and pines that line every fairway. I felt at times like I was playing in Seattle Washington with the beautiful pine trees. It is quiet, peaceful, and gorgeous! It was a bit of a drive for me living in the city of St Louis but worth it and I will do it again very soon.

I live over a hour away from the golf course, I called them to see what we could do they told me nothing, only if the course was closed would they give me a refund. So instead of wasting my money I drove an hour only to play in the rain the whole day, just to make a point to them. The good news is I took my 12 year old. It will cost them more in sod to fix the course than it would have been to give me a rain check or a refund. It was a waste of money for me but I think they will think again before they let a 12 year old play in the rain. What part of weather hazard do they not understand...........

A really enjoyable time. The Staff is first class and the grounds crew first class too. Course was in AWSOME condition! The BEST COURSE I have ever played!!!!

Our first time to Lockhaven resulted in a terrific experience accentuated by a most welcoming staff. Despite the recent weather and flooding issues of the season, Lockhaven's staff has done a great job keeping the course together. Only the first hole and 2nd tees show visual evidence of the stressed conditions from flooding in the area. Layout positively reflects the traditional vibe associated with course designs of the 1950s and before. Greens were in great shape and trap complexes well maintained. Pace of play is a strength here, so don't come if you plan to plod. Our group held up the flow at a 4 hour pace. Great value. Look forward to returning soon.

Lockhaven was a fun course to play. A lot of rolling hills and elevated tees. Greens were in good shape. The drive to get there is also scenic!

This course has a great layout will challenge any level golfer without being overly intimidating. Wide open fair ways with bunkers strategically place to protect the greens to challenge you to make a good shot. The greens are in great shape to test your ability to read the grain for each putt. Over all if you play this course you will enjoy yourself.
