Worth playing
The greens were in good shape and good speed. Some interesting/tricky/quirky holes: 4,5,12,13,14, back in the woods. Also, some more straight-forward, easier holes. Greens were mostly small, and several had a lot of slope from back to front. Course is "rustic" but worth playing.
One of my favorites
Course is always in good shape, I haven’t had to wait for other golfers in the 3 times I golfed here. Outstanding value.
Outstanding layout!
Not the course to use the driver much. Requires thoughtful strategy on club selection and target lines. Always in great shape and staff is excellent
In good condition.
Course is in good condition. Greens were putting true, started drying out a bit but nice to.putt on. Some holes are tight and challenging but is a fun course, keep it in the short grass and you're rewarded.
Next hole direction
First time playing the course. It’s a beautiful course, I just found it difficult on some holes to find the next hole.
This course is a hidden gem and is always in good shape! Everytime I come back home to visit family I make sure I get a round in here.
Nice Course
course is in good shape, challenging and greens were Very Good. rolled true, well maintained. lots of trees on back nine.
Great time
The male that checked us in was super friendly and let us know the course layout and some pointers.
Course is narrow but makes you be more disciplined.
Drove around 1.5 hrs will definitely be back!
Shady oaks
Our round was absolutely amazing, the course is in great shape and I cannot believe that they closed already!! We can't wait to play there next year!
Unexpectedly wet
Possibly irrigation head problems but it's was oddly wet in areas but other than that it was very playable and greens were slick and rolled great. But due to the wetness on some they had alot of foot prints around the cup but hey, public course alot of play you will have that. People inside were friendly and the locals out golfing were as well. The price was fantastic for a weekend and all in all I had a great time and always have coming here.
