About
Arlington Lakes Golf Club is situated amid the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Locals treasure the course as one of the area's hidden gems. At 5,331 yards from the back tees, this par-68 layout is on the shorter side but don't underestimate its level of difficulty. Besides the mature trees that frame many of the holes and 14 lakes that come into play, there are more than 100 strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. The layout also features small, sloped greens that demand accuracy but you can take comfort in the fact that there are no doglegs. With strategic shot-placement and a bit of luck, there are some birdie opportunities available. The shorter length of the golf course will appeal to beginners but it's versatile for more advanced players to enjoy as well.

A nice track!
Great for money. Not sure what the complaints are on the staff always super friendly with me! We played Tuesday foursome in 3 hours and 10 mins short muni with decent par 3’s I’ll be back!
Nice course well maintained
Course usually in great shape. 11:30 start was on time. One group in front of us making ok time and then they quit after 9 so back played faster...3.5 hours...enjoyed the whole round

AH Lakes does it again
The staff is not the most friendly and bully their objectives into your round. They are not customer first; that's how it always is at Arlington Lakes. They are losing customers for a reason; I for one have been turned off and came back again, but after this experience with the staff and everything, I will not be back.

Short course (5400 yards), but challenging. Staff was friendly - plenty of young kids/players on the course. I would play again for sure.

Great Public Course
I've played Arlington Lakes numerous times but recently started taking golf more seriously. Hadn't played here in 2-3 years and I was thrilled with the course conditions. Only issue I had was they allowed a 5some walk in front of us for the front 9. Front 9 took about 2.5-3 hours because of this which was somewhat frustrating as it was difficult to maintain momentum. Also, there is no driving range on the course you need drive about 5 minutes from the course to get to a range which I believe is associated with the course. I'll be back!

First Time Review
-straight course, pretty dead on from T-fairway on all holes
-nice and open, won’t lose a ton of balls here
-walkers in front really held up pacing
-back 9 is prettier, whole course is nice looking though
-par 3s are FUN

Not sure what all the negativity is…..it’s a muni folks….well run no complaints! Teed off @ 11:20 done at 3:00 under 4 hrs on a Friday! So lighten up folks grab an iced cold Peroni and go play golf…..pretty certain none of us will be on TV. Response to only good if you are chasing handicap……cool story bro see you Butler National .
