Arlington Lakes Golf Club

I live right by the course, played it throughout high school for our golf team, and have been here pre and post renovation. Let me make one thing perfectly clear: take your 57 dollars elsewhere.

This is not a 50+ dollar course under any circumstances. Most youth golfers that are somewhat decent could shoot under par here with a 7 iron only. The greens are never consistent. The staff is extremely hit or miss; some are awesome and have great charisma and personalities, others are clearly miserable, rude, and couldn’t care any less about your experience. I am not playing here again until the price is reduced dramatically. I could go play Makray, arguably the area’s nicest and most challenging course, for 7 MORE DOLLARS.

I understand the economy, I understand that inflation is an issue, but this is not a 57 dollar course. No way. Leave this course to the 60 year old retirees that can afford it, otherwise use your money elsewhere.

Windy cold day made the course more difficult than normal. Fun course with problems if you stray off course

Shorter course, but at times challenging. Fun to play and staff is friendly always. Look out for the geese!

Nice track, i was not fooled by the shorter distance. My wife is a beginner and she felt the course was really friendly for someone at her skill level.

The course was in fine condition given it was first week in November. As expected, greens were being aerified so a little bumpy but still playable. Friendly staff, nice facilities, great price… overall great given the time of year. Will play there again,

This was my first time at this course and I was disappointed right out of the gate. The tee time manager was extremely rude and not accommodating to our request. He was condescending to me and my 5 man team. He then proceed to braided us more and wanted to exert his “power” so he told us every rule we broke even before we started golfing, note: we were unaware of the rules we broke based on what the website told us, we apologized but it still wasn’t good enough so he kept going. Needless to say we will never go back again and I suggest this course to no one just based on the fact of how this one Individual treating us. What I will say is the gentleman maning the computers were extremely apologetic to us thus why we continued our 9 hole scramble. But again we will not go back until that gentlemen on the first tee is gone.

First time playing the course. Fun, great and challenging layout. Holes are close together, almost got hit a few times.

The course is a decent value for the area and winds uniquely around the space provided. Not a long course but the green roll at near tour speed.

Fix that driver slice if you want to stay out of the Arlington Lakes. Majority of the holes had water on the right side of the fairway.

3:40 tee time they got us off at 3:20 as a threesome we jumped around a bit on front side but sailed 9 thru 18 then went back and played missed holes had the place to ourselves last 9 holes. Again staff very friendly fairways and tee boxes very good greens lots of ball marks….we just moved our balls an inch or two (not the PGA) and it was fine. 3 for 100.00 on Hot Deal for Saturday afternoon while Old Orchard was charging 85.00 per player🤣🤣🤣 twisted teas 2 for $5 bucks Miller lite or BL 16 oz 2 for $8.00. We will be back! Oh yeah played in 2:45 yeah baby!

Relatively short course at a par 68. Played from the farthest tees, the tips. I'd recommend the place for seniors like me, for sure

Why would you offer 18 holes plus cart @5:30 knowing the sun sets about 7:10? Arlington Lakes requires the carts be returned around 7pm. I got through 9 holes before having to return the cart. I’m still shaking my head.

Very nice course. It is shorter but it plays more difficult than the card would indicate. Course was in good condition, some of the tee boxes were rough but it looks like they were about to move them to better grass. Staff was very friendly and they had beverage carts going around. NIce restaurant and amenities, the only downside is no range, but there are a few places close you can go. Not just a knock on this course but people need to fix their ball marks. Arlington even passes out free tools, no excuse for the greens to look like a waffle iron. Again not the course's fault I'm sure they do the best they can fixing them.
