About
Schaumburg Golf Club is a 27-hole layout that has hosted the U.S. Open Qualifying and Illinois Open Qualifying tournaments as well as numerous other events since it first opened in 1928. The course is divided into three nines: the Tournament, Players, and Baer. Each course has a different character but one characteristic they all have is the undulating terrain. All three golf courses also boast well manicured tees, greens, and fairways. The nines are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Tournament/Players course features the most water of the three combinations. The par-4 fifth hole on the Tournament nine has a particularly tricky forced carry over a large pond. In addition to the golf courses, Schaumburg has a practice facility that includes a driving range and two putting greens.

Course already in great shape
The course is already in great shape, especially the greens. Rolled fast and true. Pace of play could definitely been better though.

This is one of the best courses to play in the area. The course is extremely well kept, and the greens are much faster than most! Staff is also very polite

The place is kept like a country club!..A bit challenging for a senior, but front tees are optional. Nice staff..great Golf Now deals..check'em out!
Afternoon golf
Great for afternoon round during the week. Able to finish quickly. Course looked excellent for October
Always a pleasure
I really enjoy all three layouts. The bunkers are beautiful, great white sand. Par 3s are gettable and challenging. Fairways and cuts are alway well manicured. Best course in the Schaumburg area.
Starters need to chill
Second time a starter has had lip on the players course. This time, a lady starter needed to be the center of attention. Last guy needed to reprimand me for not spending $20 dollars on a cart, that the pro shop gave me. No communication from pro shop to starter. I check in w pro shop and starter is making it about them. Broke 90 from the 3rd tees (89). Would go again

Schaumburg has three nine hole courses which they rotate, so it feels like a different challenge every time out
