About
Schaumburg Golf Club is a 27-hole course that is divided into three nines: the Tournament, Baer, and Players. The nines are played in three different 18-hole combinations that offer a variety of different challenges. The nines have unique designs but all the courses share an undulating terrain and well manicured tees, fairways, and greens. Due to the quality of the design and excellent conditions, the course has been host to numerous events over the years including the U.S. Open Qualifying and Illinois Open Qualifying tournaments. The Tournament/Baer combination features plenty of water on the front nine, while the back nine is more forgiving but still dotted with strategically placed bunkers. Schaumburg is a popular course not only because of the design but also because of the country club setting at public-course prices.

worthy choice
The Park District does a great job with this 27 hole layout, its always in great shape, staff and facilities are great, and pace of play is almost always good. A worthy choice to put in your rotation to play.

Nice Course and fun to play
I enjoyed the course and will play again. Having water jugs on the course was great and the yardage markers on the paths were nice. Well maintained course, fun to play and pace was good. I will play again. A little on the expensive side but nice
Friendly staff, good conditions
The staff at Schaumburg were very friendly and proactively offered to store my bags as I was going to O’Hare after.
Course is in good conditions, greens were great.

If you are in the area get on this property. Greens are firm and must. Much fun.
Terrible Ranger
Course is great, love it.
It rained briefly and we had to get rain gear out and put it back.
Front 9 completed in 2 hours and 5 min, 4 some walking on a sloppy course.
The ranger told me to pick it up at the turn.
I explained the rain and the gear change, but we would do our best.
We sped up a bit and saw him again on 14 where I said we had picked up some time.
He yelled that there was a hole ahead of us.
The groups in front of us were a 3 some and a single and there was nobody pushing us at all.
These hard-core ranger nuts need to calm down.
We ended up finishing our round at 215, we need off at 10:10.
Totally ruined my rhythm on the back 9 and we weren't even slow.
Hopefully the course explains to these rangers what slow pace is and when to say something to groups.
Otherwise course is great.
