Good course friendly atmosphere
Enjoyed the round. Course was in good condition and the overall experience was very nice. Would recommend the course. Bring your friends and family and enjoy!

Sand Traps
Aren't they supposed to be Sand Traps? Seems to be Very Common in Midwest, Courses they get an allowance for Sand & go Overboard turn them into an OVER penalizing Beach trap boarding on Quicksand. Fun course though, will challenge your B & A Games .

This course is challenging
Front nine harder than back, lots of water and you don't have to be far off line to find it. Overall course very good, excellent condition, greens in good shape, a little slower than I would have expected. We stayed and had a sandwich, food very good and staff very friendly.

Buddies golf
My buddies and I golf every other week together. We hadn’t been to Arboretum Club since before Covid. One buddy has never played the course. We had so much fun. The majority of our group golf etiquette hacks. We would certainly play it again. Thought he greens weren’t lightening fast, they are definitely faster than the local courses around that area and especially Glenview

Golf cart died and took 3 phone calls and 40 minutes for them to bring a new one
Terrible experience, our cart died on the 12th hole and it took 3 phone calls to the clubhouse and 40 minutes for them to bring us a new cart. We were unable to keep playing since my husbands golf bag doesn’t have a kick stand is made for a walking or riding cart, not made to be carried. The person at the clubhouse even hung up on me the second time we called asking if someone was coming with a new cart. We ended up driving back to the clubhouse when they finally brought a new cart and left without finishing. We had fallen behind so much and had the 2 slowest groups in front of us. Very disappointing experience.

Great course
Overall Arboretum is a fun course to play. It does have a few holes where you need to target a certain area then hit to the green. Overall, OB left and water to the right. It is challenging overall yet very fair. If you want a course that's easy and you can hit it anywhere, this is not the course. Greens are nice and true, with some but not too much undulation. They also now have an indoor range with six hitting stations that is excellent for warming up; very reasonable.

Not easy, but a pleasure to play
Course is tough, largely due to the water hazards, but in greaat shape, as usual. Staff was very friendly on course, in club house, and in bar/restaurant.

Good course for the money.
Everything went well except the cart was dying and except for calling the club house for relief there was no choice. It was getting late also so we continued playing.
1) I’m surprised they don’t charge their carts every day or so to keep up with the demand.
2) The score card does NOT have the course and hole layout just like most other courses which is a HUGE drawback and a negative!!!
As good a course this used to be it’s nowhere close to being in a tiptop shape. Doesn’t need a lot to be fixed to make it a very desirable course. These are some quick fixes that can take care of the shortcomings.
