First Impressions

Played Burnham Woods for the first time, I like the course and the friendly staff. The course need a little help as far as maintenance. Great potential! Nice layout that challenges ones game, not very long but stay straight or pay the consequences.

Horrible conditions would be a decent course if they actually put some love and care into the course. They have Gatorade in the can huge plus

Great value

This course is currently in great condition. It has very few sand traps and/or water hazards. However, there are lots of trees with fairly tight fairways. My only complaints are there are no course restrooms, the sprinklers were going on 3 of the tee boxes, no food at the turn other than chips, candy bars etc...Other than those things the facility is wonderful & I will be better prepared for my next round.

Top value without the crowd. Narrow fairways and postage stamp greens. Fair, fun, fast, and a good challenge through the trees.

New to Golf

New to Golf - first course I’ve played since getting my clubs. Had a great time - while not pristinely kept, the course was in great condition. Food was good and beverages were cheap. Didn’t have many behind us because it had rained earlier in day.

Staff was extremely friendly!

Waited over an hour for carts for my 4. Wasn’t too bad we got to drive and hit the putting greens nice warm up before hitting the holes. Some greens like hole 8 and 10 need to be addressed!! Putts kicking up because of high divots on greens. Some parts of greens dead. Should be cheaper to golf here one of the “less nicer” forest preserve courses. Staff was great tho. Charge 30-35 for 18 with cart is more reasonable price for green and fairway damage.

Flooded Fairways

No info from the staff that 4 holes were completely flooded in the middle of the fairways, terrible drainage. Definitely not worth $50.
