Great for beginners and practice rounds.
This is my practice course. I have the practice and play card and it advertises being able to shoot extra shots. With or without the card you can definitely do that here as it’s generally never crowded and I mean sometimes wide open. Also has a range, putting green and they used to have a separate green for chipping which is kind of unique. Staff is cool and always slide a tip if have some cash. The conditions are at the bottom of rung but it’s not so bad that’s it unplayable by any means. It used to be better 5 years ago as they HAD a stream running through it and you really had to make decisions on laying up or going for it because you’d roll in a lot. They moved the blue tee boxes up which I’m not a fan of. They also filled in all the traps with grass which I’m not against but seems like they could have kept a few. But since there are no traps it helps me work on my short game because around the green you are often on a hill on a weird angle so it made me more versatile. Some of the smallest greens but they run weird too. It’s not a go to course for my friends that aren’t from the area but a buddy of mine loves it. If you have golfers that aren’t to upscale then it’s still a good place. I love the par 5’s here and hole #10 is top tier.
#1 Worst FPG Course
Easily in the worst condition out of all the FPG courses. Greens were like shag carpet, holes were trampled/funneled which tells me they haven't been moved in ages. Tee box grass was longer than fairway should be and torn to shreds / muddy. Nearly impossible to tell what's fairway vs rough. $45 weekend rate w/ cart... wouldn't even pay $20 to golf here again. Likely won't be back! Staff was great though.
Very Disappointed
I had no idea the greens where being worked on until I arrived at the course after driving about one hour. I played only due to the long drive and had to do the front nine twice. I will not go back ever again.

Great learning course
If you are just hacking around and enjoy the game this is a friendly course . Not too many hard challenges like water or sandtraps. Nice long par 4 and 5 to work on distance. Very green and well maintained. Greens are small usable as a good traget.
Wonderful Old School Greens
Course is a great walking course. The original greens are the strength of the course and a blast to putt on!
Don’t play here
If you advertise that your golf course is open for play, then I assume that means there is still staff cleaning up the course. Couldn’t find my ball even in the fairway.
Ridiculous Free for all
Left after 2.5 hr for 7 holes. Ineffective starter not managing tee box. Twosome jumped in and teed off 15 min early and messed up cadence for 6 groups in line behind. 25 min wait on the second tee and it didn’t stop. A call to the clubhouse yielded someone coming to tell everyone that it was a slow day…only because no one is managing the boxes. Waste of time.
Staff was Friendly but the Manager was rude.
The manager of this golf course does not know how to talk to customers. The manager shouted "Hey you! Come here!" With arms stretch out towards me and his forefinger beckoning me to walk towards him. It was after my round and I just wanted to clean my ball and irons at the first tee's ball cleaner since the course was very muddy. The first tee also has some sort of box with water on it which I deemed for cleaning irons. In a loud voice, he asked "where are you headed?.
I knew he was looking at me differently because earlier, after my first nine holes, when I was headed to the next nine, he stopped me - and asked if I checked in. I answered I am about to play my back nine. He reiterated his question if I checked in. I said yes - the other person checked me in. He responded by just saying , no problem.
