Burnham Woods Golf Course

Course is laid out oddly with holes almost crossing each other. Greens are tiny and most sand traps have grown into grass bunkers. Greens were concrete and some looked diseased. There was a leaf issue but that wasn't so much their fault. They do not have many carts and the facilities are very poor. No on-course support at all.

Greens are in pretty decent condition. Fairways aren't tee boxes aren't great. Not much as far as hazards go, but a couple interesting holes with the shape and tree location. They do have a very small range with a few mats with a bunch of beat up balls but its enough to loosen up.

The course was extremely dry, greens were dry hard and brittle. Grass too long

Fairways were not in good shape at all and the greens were terrible look like they had disease.

first off the lady in the clubhouse had terrible attitude and needs to work on her social skills, second the manger who runs it, and claims to have ran multiple golf courses comes up to me and my partners (total of 4) because we had a tee time at 8am and the people in front of us who were playing there own ball and had there kids with them,holding onto the back of the golf carts, were just playing slow so,we did what anybody would do unless there was a tournament going on that day, we decided to start on the back 9, and he came flying down after were about to finish the hole yelling saying you can't start at the back 9, you had an 8am tee time so what shouldve been a 3hr day turned into a 5hr day, the fairways were in terrible condition, the grass was so high the fairways were basically severe roughs, clumps of grass all around, dead leaves, greens were terrible and looked like someone ran a metal rake through them, believe me when I say this, DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT COMING TO THIS COURSE, if its either this course or stay at home, save yourself the money!!!

A lot of leaves on the green and dead grass also. Since this was a summer round I was baffled there were dead leaves all over the course.

Leaves everywhere. Couldn’t even tell half the time if you were in the fairway or not.

I tried to cancel/reschedule and nobody would help

I normally don't respond to reviews but this experience took the cake. Let me start by saying, this has nothing to do with the golf course but the site that I made the reservation on. How can you book a tee time for a golf course that is CLOSED? I got an apology and my money refunded. Where is the service recovery? Where is the responsibility for the person who posted the information? With everything going on, you want to at least be able to play a round at a golf course that is open!;Getting off my soapbox now!

Directional hole signs could be improved. Cart paths would be a definite bonus!

As soon as we arrived and checked in the club house. The lady was not pleasant at all. After putting her attitude aside we wanted to enjoy the course but it was in horrible condition. We couldn’t tell the fairway from the rough.

Very dysfunctional. Had a 6 am t-time and there were six people playing ahead of us with no guidance from the staff. If anyone can start whenever they want, why schedule time slots??
