Bad pace and poor conditions
I was disappointed with playing conditions - the greens were in rough shape and a lot of bare spots on the fairways. There was a very slow foursome a head of us, and not a ranger in sight to keep them moving. The guy at the clubhouse didn’t say anymore than three words to me. Cary CC has potential to be a decent course if they put some heart into it. $44 as a hot deal during the week is way too much. Overall, this is disappointing because I’m local, and have been playing here for 20 plus years
Great and fairly easy course
CCC is a great course to play whenever you like, staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the course. One of my favorites in the area
Greens are tricky, a lot of slope, but fair.
Tees need work. Hard to find a level spot, not cut short enough .
The course is pretty much the same as I remember it. Fun layout with a lot of elevation changes. The conditions were average at best, with lots of shaggy and beat-up tee boxes. Inconsistent fairways and roughs - some holes were well manicured, some were shaggy. There are still some tee boxes that are completely under repair which is surprising considering it was the same way 6 months ago. Pace of play was great for a Sunday morning.
Good condition for fall golf
Good green conditions, some tee boxes torn up, pace of play was weekend slow with full course of foursomes, starter was very friendly, will return.
A nice course and a great deal
Took 2 buddies to Cary CC for the first time on a great Hot Deal, and they are ready to go back. It's a nice older style layout with lots of mature trees, no houses bordering the course, plenty of elevation changes, and very interesting holes. The greens were is in great shape but some of the fairways and rough showed the effects of the recent drought. No driving range which accounts for the Avg amenities rating. Also no cart girl this late in the season although there were a fair number of golfers on this beautiful fall day. You'll need your GPS to find the course if you've never been there as it's in a cul-de-sac south of downtown Cary.
Fun , rolling course!
Overall, good to very good test for a 10-20 handicapper. Teeing areas need work, hard to find level ground and need to be cut shorter
Top of the Mountain
Very nice course with alot of elevation. Staff is very friendly and club house is a very nice place to grab a sandwich and a beer. Met the GM Ken who was very informative and made me like a valued member being my first time playing the course. Greens were in good shape and fairways were in good shape. This is my first time playing a course with this much elevation and it was quite a surprise. I would definitely return to this course.
Cary CC
Fun course with elevated tees offering nice views. Fairways were down to dirt in a few spots but greens were good for this time of year. Staff were all nice.
Long course
It was a hot day so it made it a little rougher. The holes are long, course taken care of. It very hilly so I wouldn't walk.
