Very Pleasantly Suprised
If you havent played in the last 2 years, try this course again. Best bang for your buck in the area. Can't wait to play again. I live within 5 min and wish I would've re-found this course sooner.
Used to play this course a lot 20 years ago as a teen during high school. Last time was with a buddy in 2016 and not much changed. Back then - Weird rubber mats for tees, VERY long greens and you could spray the ball anywhere without consequences.
Now - WOW! Visually very nice. Hardscaping and landscaping, halfway house, and a beverage cart! Shows they care.
BUT THE COURSE - Well kept and placed tees (except for 1 but we all get 1). Nice greens that are undulating and challenging. Fairways that are fairways, not just shorter backyard grass. Rough is well maintained and thick without being ridiculously punishing.
Now, even though I'm overly happy with the course for what it is, it's not the very best course ever, it's just a great value for the area and more than worth the price for tee time.
Great course to go out and have fun. Great value for the money. Enjoy it every single time
Beautiful scenery
Great course, very open and spacious. The scenery is spectacular, it doesn’t feel like you’re close to Chicago. Saw plenty of wildlife too, family of deer including a 6 point buck, and a lone fox! Pace was great, staff super friendly. Love the layout, will definitely play here again.
A great place to play
Played with my grandson and met up with a player named Bob he new the course and had some good tips would return another day
After 40 years away.
Well kept for a public course. Not very different. The traps were in good condition. Pace was a little slower but we finished in 4 hours. I enjoyed it.
Awesome couse
This was a great course. It was super well kept and the staff was extremely friendly. The course has its fair share of challenges as well as some easier ones to get you back on your game.
The best value course I've played
Compliments to the grounds team, some of the best kept fairways and greens I've seen in the burbs.
Excellent Course
Had a great time playing here, came back for twilight rounds the next day after playing 18!
It’s a very popular course so it gets busy and the pace of play slows down, while you wait for the group ahead you can take in the nature surrounding you. Lots of deer and geese roaming around
