Edgebrook Golf Course

Had to leave after two holes because the greens are being punched and I didn’t know when I booked my round

Played Edgebrook for First Time this Weekend with my Dad. It was very funny. It is a great course if you are playing with beginners to immediate golfers who need practice. It is a very fair course with no sand bunkers and limited water hazards. I recommend walking because it is a very walkable course and most players walk. Hope you try this hidden gem in Chicago area.

Labor Day Sunday. Teed off at 3:10 in a 4some. Good muni for the price w/a cart. However, No beer cart, tees were beyond horrible; mats on many. Pace was good for the front 9, but slowed on back. Greens were decent. Besides the tees, course was in good shape. Almost no water or bunkers, so easy to feel good about yourself.

All told, good for a chill loop w/my 15 y.o. son.

The grass on the golf course is in poor condition.

Short and straight, and well manicured greens

The tee boxes looked like no one takes care of them. Guy working check-in wasn’t the nicest of people. Trying to rush us when we weren’t late for our time.

Greens were taken care of, but that's it. Short course. Mats on every blue tee box, white tee boxes were almost always pure dirt. Fairways were 50/50 grass and dirt. Very tight course. Classic muni course, but they could really do a few things to improve the round at the price they charge.

Great for seniors. Short course that is reasonably priced and short enough to afford you the opportunity for a better final score.

My husband and I hadn't played this course in probably 20 years. Our memories were an old course with minimal maintenance and having to tee off from rubber mats.

We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the course was. The greens looked very well kept and the ranger was doing a nice job of gently moving everyone along and keeping us updated. We had a beautiful day an will definitely be heading back soon.
