February golf in Chicago
Was fortunate to get out in February. Appreciated the course opened to accommodate players during a unseasonably mild February. Unfortunately much of the course was soggy and saturated with water. Not their fault. Will return when things dry out.
Terrible pace and course needs attention
There was an outing and the tee times shod have been pushed back. Outings take long and I did not even finish. There are several areas where the course needs seeding. It is a great course if you like par 5s and 3s. I loved this course, but it needs some work. Greens need some attention.
Andre
Been a customer here for many many many years so I'm biased. Course is fine , staff is off the chart AMAZING !!! Always treated like family
Hot day for golf
Greens/Fairways in good condition for a hot, hot, day.
Lincoln Oaks Rocks
For what once was a "women's" course, it certainly has more than enough challenges for all golfers. My only negative comment has nothing toto do with the course or owners but all golfers need tooto fix their ball marks on the greens.
Nice fairways
Great course for the price. there were some rough patches that have been addressed nicely.
very hard to find next hole
No sign next course.finally we lost 18hole.

Excellent rate thru golfnow. Course in good shape except in one green. Enjoyable round of golf.
i probably won't go back
5 hour 45 minute round. slow play began immediately on 2nd hole. waiting on every shot. fivesomes all over the place. rangers are nonexistent. twosome behind us had their own separate carts (one of which was riding up onto the fringe of each green and right behind us on our tee balls). after our tee shots on #8 one of these idiots now tells us that we're taking too long on the greens. mr "golf policeman" almost gets into fight with the group in front of us when he tells them to speed up. tells us he's a regular (another reason not to go back). 4 of the 6 par 3's had same yardage (within a few yards). just not a good experience. i guess you get what you pay for.
Enjoyable
A lot of rain but Nice and dry, Good drainage.
Enjoyable course
Nice course. Enjoyed the track through the subdivision. Small greens, but a solid course.
Good course for the price
Only hang up for me was the pace of play was very slow, could be just that day. Other than that course was good
Lincoln Oaks
We had a good time on the course it was 60 degrees and very windy. Controlling ball flight was not an easy thing to do. It is a good scoring course with good lies and you can recover from wayward shots easily.
BAD BAD BAD COURSE
I have never seen a more poorly maintained or managed golf course in my life. To begin the pro shop staff don not greet you, they just say "time" and wait for the money from your pocket to theirs. If you take a few minutes within you will see they only really only converse with locals. For the course, no control in starting or pace of play, course is poor terrain, fairways are like interstate medians, the greens are like watching your ball bouncing over rough ground. gravel in some spots on fairways, most sandtraps are concrete, ballwashers are empty, tees torn up. I could go on and on. So, if you like playing with potential of your equipment being damaged and have the feeling your playing in a plowed farm field go to this course. After all for $23.00 it should send a message, "please world come play my course as I have no loyal customers and my mortgage is due. I'M TELLING YOU THOSE WHO LOVE THE GAME" AS MYSELF STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like the small greens on some of holes.
Well thought out layout. Well ran course. Great value.
Interesting Course
Nice course with small challenging greens. A couple of the holes had tee boxes and greens in rough condition ( But its also near the end of the year ). The course has an unusual layout with multiple par 5 & par 3 holes. Some of the tee boxes and greens are very close together( and fairways) could be hazardous. Staff very friendly, ok bar to watch a game after golf. Facility overall is somewhat tired, if I lived in the area would likely try again in the spring. Living 40+ miles away, I probably will not return.
GREAT DEAL THRU GOLF NOW
HAVE PLAYED L OAKS MANY TIMES SINCE IT WENT PUBLIC 25 YEARS AGO.
USED GOLF NOW GOT ON FOR A GREAT PRICE
PLAYED UNDER 4 HOURS
NO CART GIRL UNTIL ABOUT 400 PM
CONDITIONS
TEES ALL GREAT EXCEPT 9 TH HOLE
GREENS- HAVE SEEN BETTER BUT OVERALL OK
FAIRWAYS-EXCELLENT
BUNKERS-GOOD
ROUGH DECENT LENGTH QUITE HIGH IN SPOTS
Are you sure you got the correct course. 80 percent of our traps had new sand in early 2015. Normally our greens are regarded above average. We have bent fairways and no gravel or rocks that I have ever noticed.
