Been 20+ years
Great course for the money. Excellent friendly staff. Will be back!
If you haven't played this course because you think is far, it's really not. 394 runs at 60+mph so it's really only 10mins from i80. Haven't had time to eat there but seems like people really enjoy the eating area/bar. The small greens make you step up your accuracy. Overall much fun
Slow Play
It took 3 1/4 hrs. To play 9 holes. When I complained a gentleman went out on course, came back and said nothing could be done to speed up play. We left after 9 holes never to go back.
Can you not put every pin location on a Slope
I love this course. I travel from indiana to play it a few times a month with a good friend of mine. Love the fact they give you a free bucket of balls to warm up with on the range. Also, they have a nice putting green and short game area. It had rained the previous days so the course was wet but still in pretty good shape considering. Greens on the front were rolling slower than the back 9 but the greens were very nice and rolling true. Only complaint was the pin locations lol. The season is just starting and I feel as if every hole shouldn't be on a breaking down slope. Let the guys come out and make some birdies to get the confidence up. However I did birdie the $10,000 par 3 15th so the superintendent isn't all that bad lol.
First time at course
Got a great deal on GolfNow so I drove out to get 18 in. Pretty empty when I arrived. Was supposed to be teamed up with others, but they let me go on my own. I didn't know where the first tee was and there was no signage, so I went back into the ProShop and asked. They told me and warned me about the greens being small. They were correct and the advice helped. Interesting older course winding through an older neighborhood in Crete. A bit out of the way, but I liked this course more than others that I've played in the area. Balmoral Woods is the other course near here that I really enjoyed.
Lincoln Oaks Golf Course a Diamond in the Rough
Lincoln Oaks GC was in very good shape considering the amount of rain the area has received. The Pace of Play was also very good only waits were at the par 3's. Stuck around for Masters Finals and staff were Great, with Attention and Friendliness at the top of their list. I have played this course before and have to admit, I should come here more often.
February golf in Chicago
Was fortunate to get out in February. Appreciated the course opened to accommodate players during a unseasonably mild February. Unfortunately much of the course was soggy and saturated with water. Not their fault. Will return when things dry out.
Terrible pace and course needs attention
There was an outing and the tee times shod have been pushed back. Outings take long and I did not even finish. There are several areas where the course needs seeding. It is a great course if you like par 5s and 3s. I loved this course, but it needs some work. Greens need some attention.
Andre
Been a customer here for many many many years so I'm biased. Course is fine , staff is off the chart AMAZING !!! Always treated like family
Hot day for golf
Greens/Fairways in good condition for a hot, hot, day.
Lincoln Oaks Rocks
For what once was a "women's" course, it certainly has more than enough challenges for all golfers. My only negative comment has nothing toto do with the course or owners but all golfers need tooto fix their ball marks on the greens.
Nice fairways
Great course for the price. there were some rough patches that have been addressed nicely.
very hard to find next hole
No sign next course.finally we lost 18hole.

Excellent rate thru golfnow. Course in good shape except in one green. Enjoyable round of golf.
i probably won't go back
5 hour 45 minute round. slow play began immediately on 2nd hole. waiting on every shot. fivesomes all over the place. rangers are nonexistent. twosome behind us had their own separate carts (one of which was riding up onto the fringe of each green and right behind us on our tee balls). after our tee shots on #8 one of these idiots now tells us that we're taking too long on the greens. mr "golf policeman" almost gets into fight with the group in front of us when he tells them to speed up. tells us he's a regular (another reason not to go back). 4 of the 6 par 3's had same yardage (within a few yards). just not a good experience. i guess you get what you pay for.
Enjoyable
A lot of rain but Nice and dry, Good drainage.
