Fun course despite brutal greens
Canal Shores has a ton of potential despite the worst greens ever. Mind you I was playing golf in December on a beautiful 50 degree day so life is good. I tried fixing a divot on a green and a chunk of the green fell out. It looked diseased in places and just plain not taken care of. Despite horrific greens it is a tight and challenging golf course. Love that they will be having 5 and 10 hole loops to go along with the traditional 18 holes. Fix the greens and this would be a lovely “go to” quick round of golf!

At least it's cheap
The staff is always nice here. They moved the tees off the tee boxes to very uneven ground, that sucked. The greens are mostly in rough shape.

Fun , sporty
they need to grow grass everywhere, and watering would help a lot. There are greens that are half dirt, tee areas also are mostly dirt. This could be a great course if they put some effort into it

Greens?
Hugely disappointing greens. Large bare patches I have not seen anywhere in 20 yrs. and not time of year as I played 2 other courses in last week. This staff can do better.
