Oak Grove Golf Course

Great Value with all the Specials they have thruout the week. Condition of course was well maintained and greens held and were fast. From Championship tees of 6613 yds., this track has a 73.2 Rating and a Slope of 140! Recommend it to everyone who wants an above average golf experience.

I play this course at least once a year and seems like the quality is dropping annually. Traps had no sand in them and fgreens were extremely soft( peat mossy). GReens were in bad condition and there is no one out on course to monitor the slow play. I dont want to drive an hour to play a 5 hour round. Price was reasoanble if you get a deal on line but I would nt pay more than $30 for this course and I doubt I will be back becasue of the drive.

I have played this course over the years and keep coming back.

It was well worth it on Friday May 24th. The greens were fast but true, the fairways lush. It also did not hurt that the weather was perfect, mid 60s and sun, no wind!

I took two of my kids paying 35.00 each, it was a great deal for that price.

I'll be back a fw mor times this year!

Very nice course. A hidden gem. Rough needed to be cut. Sand traps are horrible. Most are hard pan. This was the biggest let down.

It's 8:30 AM and there are three cars in the parking lot.
You folks in Northern Illinois/ Southern Wisconsin are missing out on a very special place to tee it up. This tract, if it was located in my part of Texas, would be slammed.
The course was originally developed about ten years ago. A huge 5000 employee Motorola plant was built in the area, and this upscale venue was built to support the anticipated boom. The huge plant shut down after only a few years, but the championship golf course is still here.
These 18 holes are a challenge. Several of the longest par fives play directly into the wind. There's plenty of variety with tough par 3's and medium to long par 4's.
The course is in excellent condition. The greens are as smooth as glass. The fairways and tees are full and green.
The course is located in a bird and wildlife sanctuary. There are many wild friends out on this course, but they stay well hidden in the rough.
We were fortunate enough to play with Walt, a member and regular player.
I highly recommend this beautiful course. They have special rates for seniors, and on GolfNow.

Great course. Favorite in the area. The staff is grea,t the course is clean and well maintained. Recently I was out there on a Monday morning in October with the temp around 45 - no one else on the course, and the ground crew was out there clearing fairways of leaves. That for me says "they care about your golf experience"

Very challenging, well maintained. Greens are fast & true. The last time I played it was somewhat slow, although I have not experienced that problem in previous visits. Expensive unless you shop for a deal but this is a must play.

Would never go here paying full price! Only reason I golfed here was because of the deal I got using Golfnow.com!
