Hot, but Fun Day
It was HOT! The folks we played with were super friendly. Course is in really good shape. Pace of play was a challenge a couple of times, but it was a Sunday. Staff was great.
Greens need work!
Over all course was okay, the value for 18 was good. Majority of the greens were in bad shape, lots of prior divots, did not see any restrooms out on the course, this facility does not sell any beer so if you like beer while you golf it’s BYOB! Staff is 5 stars!
The front 9 was fairly easy, the back 9 give a little challenge. I would recommend this course to any golfer who wants to just go out and work on their game without worrying about being pressured by other golfers!
Great find!
My son and I stayed at Douglas Lake and found this place on GN. Didn't know what to expect. We wer e pressed for time and weren't sure if we could play a full 18. The guy at the desk said we could pay for 9 and if we thought we could finish 18, we could just pay the difference.
Then he said we could start the back nine to speed things up. He was very accomodating.
The greens were soft and somewhat fast. Maybe it was my new putter. This place is 2.5 hours from my son's house and he said he would get a group together to drive 2.5 hours to play there! I'm 3.5 hours away, but if I ever go back up there, Ill definitely will play there again.
Worth a shot.
It was cool. All good news to spread. My only gripes are scramble Tuesday came in midst of my round that filled every hole and range was irons only.
Great course
Has some really cool holes. A lot of variety. Perfect balance of bunkers/water as well.

The course was nice. They definitely need to put water out on the course and have a beverage cart.
Nice Public Course
Fun, fair layout for women and men. Good price, friendly staff. Would play here again.
