Island Pointe Golf Club

This is probably my third time playing this course and despite the difficulty level, it is always one of my favorites. It is a little pricey, but has great amenities for a public course including beer/snack carts and a food stop at the turn. I always loose quite a few balls in the water but its a great time and I will keep playing there.

Booked a tee time once we got to Pigeon Forge. Saw that it was an Authur Hills designed course and being from Toledo Ohio I had to play it. Got paired with another person from out of town and had a very enjoyable round. I love meeting new people.

Most challenging Course around and it’s in great condition! The only thing that needs work are tee boxes and cart paths.

They’ve done so much good work to the course and clubhouse I’m sure these things are on their list.

Excellent conditions, greens teas and fairways were great. The only thing was the crabgrass just off the fairways made it tough to hit. I would recommend crabgrass prevention at least 20 feet into the rough off the fairways.

This is a challenging course. The pace of play was a little bit slow and took 4.5 hours to finish the round. However the staff is fantadtic, the greens were in good shape and it was a beautiful round. Can't wait to play again!

This is a must play course with challenging and fin holes.

The rough was too long. Shots a foot off the fairway couldn't be found. Otherwise it's a good layout and a scenic course.

First off let me say the teeing grounds, fairways, and greens were in fantastic shape. The rough was uncut and had no consistency. We arrived early to hit the range, but it was closed. GolfNow advertises gps on the carts but that is NOT the case, not the courses fault. We were told there would be a beverage cart but there wasn’t one that came around when we played our 5 hour round. This course is fun but you need to be able to hit a tee shot or you will not have fun. Greens are typical Bermuda greens slow in the morning quick as they dry. Do not over read these greens they have very little break when in doubt aim at the cup!

First time playing this course. It was in great shape. We’ll play again when back in town.!!

I like the course in general, however the greens were punched and the starter told us they were playing fast that day so hmm. Grass was pretty high in many cuts, but the layout is great, the pace of play is always fine, and the amenities and merchandise continue to improve.

This is our favorite course to play around Knoxville, because its always in great shape. But the pace of play was extremely slow. It took us 4 hours to play 14 holes, so we ended up leaving. It was taking 22-25 minutes to play each hole and having to wait at every single shot. Sometimes you just go to know when to pick up your ball and move on. For the price to play there now, they ought to have a ranger out there.

This is a fun course to play. It’s a beautiful layout next to a river. It was packed the day I played so I won’t say anything against the pace of play it happens. The fairways and greens have been kept up in awesome shape. The greens are like walking on a cushion. It’s not wide open so a straight shot is needed on multiple holes. The greens wasn’t to challenging in breaks they read true. The staff was all professional and very nice. They have a cart that goes around that has snacks and drinks. Cart paths are under construction but that’s not a big deal. This is a beautiful fun course to play. I’d recommend this course to anyone.

Loved the course but they were very busy for a Monday, took 4.5 hours for 18. Not mad about it, it is what it is. Would definitely go back.

Pace of play was absolutely horrible but the course is phenomenal!
