The fourth. A downhill tee shot to the fairway, and a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/20/2021

The downhill par-3 seventh. You’ll hope that your tee shot is solidly struck. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/20/2021

The ninth. One of the few penal holes at Patriot Hills, as a pond threatens to swallow your second shot. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/20/2021

The uphill par-3 thirteenth. A classic that demands another precise tee-shot. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/20/2021

The closing hole. 501-yard five-par. With turmoil from tee to green, eighteen has a fine setting for finishing a tight match. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/20/2021

One of the Best!!
The course is in fabulous shape! The fairways and greens were pristine and very well taken care of. I would play this course every day if I lived closer. The staff and clubhouse are exceptional and prices are right on for merchandise and food or drink.
I love this course!
Try It, you will like it!
Fun course, excellent staff. You will play it again.
The course is taken care of
The course is taken care of. The grass is watered often and grass height is really good with fewer any bare spots. The fairways are friendly and greens are fun but challenging. Great value for the money!!
This course fits my ame
Greens had been recently punched so they were a little slow but still rolled pretty true. Bunkers not bed, some water comes into play but only on a few holes. Fairways are well maintained. Staff is always friendly. Patriot hills is a great value for your money. I regularly play about 25 courses in a 30 mile radius of Knoxville and Patriot Hills is one of my favorite public courses. Their carts are clean and the bathrooms are functional and clean. The course is usually busy for all the right reasons so it’s better to play in a three some or foursomes. If you keep the ball in your fairway you will like Patriot Hills.
Excellent course at an excellent price, just could take a while
I love this course. It’s in great shape, has really fun holes, and is very affordable. The views are amazing. It’s probably my favorite place to play in the greater Knoxville area. The only issue is pace of play. Every time I’ve been here they haven’t made people group into foursomes, which leads to back ups. Last time, I played as a single and played the first 7 holes in about 45 minutes then I got to hole 8 and there was a group of two, a separate group of two behind them, then a group of 5. I couldn’t play through and ended up waiting about 20 minutes a tee shot. With that being said, still an awesome course and very much worth it.
Nice Course
Friendly staff. Well kept course. We kept pace pretty well.
Awesomeness
Awesome course, staff, and amenities. Don’t miss the hot dogs at the turn!!
Great value
We really like the layout, the greens, and the course in general. There has been a lot of drought around here so the grass in the fairways seemed a little thin. I would recommend you allowed to grow another half inch during periods like this.
Truly loved the day.
Great day with great weather.
Very enjoyable round. Teamed up with some very nice people to make a foursome. Unlike other times here, the groups were spaced out properly so we never got backed up the whole round. Course was in good shape and the greens were very good. I will be back.
Awesome!
The course was fabulous! Thank you to the friendly staff and grounds people for a great day out!
Great golf
We were in the area on vacation and planned to play some golf. Wonderful course did not disappoint. Staff was friendly, course was in great shape. Will play again when back in the area.
Enjoyed playing Patriot Hills.
Coming from flatlands in Toledo, mountain golf is totally different. Pro shop experience was very good. Got a course guide handed to me. A lot of blind shots. I don't believe the fairways have started to grow yet. Greens were very tricky in a good way and in good condition too. They had been recently plugged and grown in nicely. We actually hit out of the sand traps, but raked the trap and placed the ball before hitting. I wish Golfnow would split course conditions into separate categories. Everyone in the group said they would like to go back and play. Ball placement a premium especially on one and ten (leave the driver in the bag). Have to play the contours of the course. Pace of play was between 415-430 range. A little slow but could have been worse, could have been better. No ranger/starter type person. We played the white tees and it was a good choice. USGA handicaps in our group ranged from 7 to 17. Course rating/slope was very fair.
Excellent golf course.
The greens were true and rolled beautifully. Open enough to hit driver on most every hole and challenging for all levels of player.
