great place to play, just not this time
7 times out of 10 you will have a good time.
3 times out of 10 it will wind up like saturday.
aeration of greens with no warning and slow play beyond belief.
they did discount my round at the desk by $3
from $36 to $33 and i do have my receipt. im not complaining too bad due to the state of things right now, i do want to play there many times in the future. i just wished that, especially on a saturday, that they would send a ranger around the course once or twice to manage SLOW play. the foursome in front of us gave lessons to each other the entire round and never offered to let us play thru! couple that with unplayable greens, especially the back nine, made for a frustrating round.

Good layout
Normally really enjoy playing PH...challenging but fair . Today it was overwhelmed with twosomes all seemed to be in a hurry.....spacing was not good. Saw some short tempers..
This is not normal for this course....

A Must Play Course
Every time I visit my family. It is a must play for us. We love the layout. The course is always in great shape. And you cant beat the price. A super value.
They stole my money
I went to this course on a Tuesday after final week. But the course was closed and I paid in full online. I should of got a refund and I did not get my money back. And the times I have played there be for the person in the club house was hateful. Would not recommend this course for my friends.

Great for this time of year
Course is in great shape. Tee boxes were in need of a mow, fairways were in great shape, greens were excellent. Course recovered great from a heavy rain storm the prior evening. Only draw back remains hole 3, it could use a redesign.
Great choice...great course
Played Patriot Hills for the first time in September 2019. By the time I got to the 11th fairway it began to rain. After 5-10 minutes the rain moved to the east and the course handled the runoff very well. Loved the layout and the elevation changes. From fairway to green the course was in magnificent shape. The bermuda 1st cut was llike nothing I had even seen. I usually like to play from the first cut, but not here! Two-inch thick bermuda is not a part of the game I can practice much in California. Staff were cordial and friendly. The only downside - I did not care for the gas-powered golf carts and breathing the exhaust fumes. Facilities were neat and clean. Will definitely be back since we are moving to Jefferson County next year.

Always enjoy playing this course. Enough of a challenge for intermediate golfers.. .

This is always one of my favorite places in East Tn to play. Great layout, beautiful views . I recommend if your in our area give it a try you won’t be disappointed.
A good place to play
This course has some of the best layouts of anyplace I have ever played. The fairways are rather high, so there is very little roll. If you can’t get the ball up do not play this course. A number of forced carries.
